I think a lot of the problem is too, that these guys think they can flip a switch like most star laden veteran NBA teams in the playoffs...And they cant. Much like a lot of the Lebron led teams, or the Big 3 Celtics later in the era...They took a lot of Regular season nights off, but knew when it was time to play. And they had that ability. This team doesnt See solly, I disagree. Cause if they truly believed that, then why don't they flip it? More important, when have they flipped that switch? I can see them saying "we flipped it in February last year when we went on that 10 game run" but that hasn't happened.

No, I think we agree...I don't believe they can, I believe that THEY believe they can. Clearly its never worked. The years they were successful, they were an overachieving/quality effort team night in and night out. They are no longer that as they younger players take over the team. The Lebron led teams, and the Big 3 era Celtics could and did during their runs for example. This team cant, but they sure act like it

I would just say we need to quit getting into overtime games. We'd played about twice as much basketball as the wiz had coming in. I know nobody believes that players are tired, or should be tired, but I think it's a big factor. We win the next one at WAS easy Oh, you make a very good point. The season started last Wednesday and we've already played 5 games in that week - two overtimes AND several players have already been out of the lineup. I just think the guys that are in there are clueless defensively. We play NO DEFENSE whatsoever. You won't win giving up what we're giving up. I agree with both of these posts! The reason we play no defense, is because we play a lazy defense. Switching every play, without even trying to stay with your man! No one knows who anyone is guarding. Any team we play can get any match up they want, at any time!! This is all on the coach!

We made one good move in the offseason Traded the IT clone Walker for Horford. Too bad Horford is nearing my age maybe we can rest him till playoff time and get out of the ist round..... have you watched any games this year?

Reading a few comments here and there. Couldnt jump on board earlier. My observation is that JB is not healthy and it is concerning. Smart needs to provide in different areas. I would bring him as a 6th man and start Dennis instead. Lastly but not least, man... Tatum has it going but doesn't have that killer instinct. Been saying that for years. I dont think he is that guy that will take us where we want to be. Problem is observation number 1, JB seems not healthy and i dont think he can fully heal if he is playing. you actually are watching the games two fuckin posters here havn't that is obvious. JBis not 100% Tatum is the poster boy for the..

As long as we continue with this double-big nonsense, we will go nowhere. When you have Horford and Rwill in the game, its all clogged up under the basket and nobody can penetrate consistently. Also, it makes have to switch every play on D, because our bigs just cant hang getting switched onto a slasher. And when you look at the 2nd unit rebounding, which was non-existent...Its clear. One of Rwill or Horford should be playing with the second unit. They should very rarely play together.

Langford is having an MRI on his calf! I guess he's gone for the season! Someone on another board called Marcus Smart, Patrick Beverly, with a green light!!

This (Langford) was another "broken" pickup by Ainge. He obviously had red flags all over coming out of college reason why he fell to us. DA never learned that one. I feel for the guy but reliability is a big deal in the NBA specially when you are drafting 1-20 at least. No other spots available and our 2 ways cant be in the playoffs.

The reasons the lane is clogged is lack of outside shooting everyone's man except Brown's and Tatum's are daring their man to shoot, and clogging the lanes!

The WIZ noticed of course Brown and Tatum got doubled teamed and surrounded when they got the ball back to the argument we should be improved. Schroder is averaging 16 pts 6.2 assists made some nice passes last night. Walker is averaging about 12 pts and 3 assists. Walker makes 30 mil plus while Schroder makes Walmart wages.. I'll say by a slim margin Schroder plays better D. Most of the failure falls on Smart and Brown who is definately not 100%. The coach needs to think about next year and play the youngins or our new President of Opps needs to make a trade come december. Its a clusterfuck as we speak

For sure the lack of a dangerous shooter is also contributing.
