Down 8 on Grant FTs ... LaVine dunk & White three puts C's down 13 Now a White layup ... Down 15 Vuc a layup ... Down 17 LaVine three ... Down 20 No offense in crunch time from the Celtics ... another disgraceful game! Anyone else pulling for the woeful Bulls?

I'd like to see them succeed after getting Theis and Vuc. That's a GM that knows what his team needed and when. Then went out and gave up whatever it took to fill the holes with dependable players rather than bargain basement garbage.

Parker a layup ...
Edwards a three ... 117-99
121-99 Final score and yet another embarrassment for the Celtics unless there's a plan to "tank" which I endorse fully at this point.

If you're brave enough, the C's play the Heat Sunday at 1PM ... be prepared to get pissed or see the C's embarrass themselves again.

I will not be posting Celtic player highlights after this game...
...out of respect for Red's championship legacy.... which spoiled me rotten to the core from the late '50's thru the Bird era.
I simply don't recognize this Celtic franchise anymore... and what it used to and now stands for.
That's all gone.
KAPUT....

Hawks' remaining schedule is a cakewalk, and they have the tiebreaker on us. I'd say the chance of us getting past Hawks is very slim. Hawks' remaining games: (37-31 now) vs WAS vs WAS vs ORL vs HOU Normally they sweep the remaining games. Considering the good play by WAS, let's say they split the series so finish the season 3-1 Even in this case we need to sweep the remaining games in order to get past the Hawks. C's remaining games: (35-31 now) @ CHI vs MIA vs MIA @ CLE @ MIN @ NYK Though that seems possible, I think it's almost improbable given our inconsistency. I would be thrilled with a 5-1 finish, the one loss coming against MIA probably. Knicks on the other hand is another story. Their remaining stretch is brutal: (37-29 as of now) @ PHO @ LAC @ LAL vs SAS vs CHA vs BOS They could very well lose all of them to fall to 6 or 7th place, or go 3-3. What I'd like to see is them losing at least one more game than us until the regular season's final game. If they indeed lose only more game than us, the winner of the final game would finish the regular season higher, and most probably clinch the 5 seed to avoid PHI, MIL or BRK in the first round. We'll see. That did not age well. I hope we lose all remaining games - we are that pitiful.

I'm almost sure we would defeat the Heat handily, only to give us false hope. Then get back on the L column again. This team will not be fulfilling its potential, that's a given. This year is already lost, let's move to the next one.

C's were 4pt favorites and were beaten by 22pts ... the perfect game for Dee to bet against the C's with his bookie.
No doubt he's flush with green tonight, compliments of the Celtics ... Congrats Dee!

Ainge gambled on Fournier, the cheaper of three tradable pieces in ORL.
Had he given up TT, Smart and filler, he could have gotten Vuc and this would be a far different finish to the season ...

Thank God I didn't watch this one. Reading the comments here looks like we went to bad again. Just like that. I dont know neither do I care how Kemba played. Every time i see an undersize PG shoot the majority of the shots i immediately know that 1.the ball aint moving, 2. That we aint winning. .. players to the likes of Danny. Tweeners, undersized PGs that prefer to play shooting guard position. Annoying.

I may be alone in my suggestion but here it goes;
Wyc, blow it up. Start over
Fire Ainge and Stephens.
Trade everyone on this team to include Tatum and Brown!
The difference between this team and all the great Celtics teams is this; on great Celtics teams The best players always made those around them better. This teams best players, Tatum and brown, are individualists and not team players. They do not make others around them better. There was no way to build a TEAM around them. Just my thoughts. This team is like the Lakers when they had Shaq and Koby, two individual players. Won’t work, one or both gotta go.

It seems to me that you blow up management first (GM and coaches) to see if the player talent can be salvaged/turned around in the best traditions of Celtic style basketball.
If that fails... then begin blowing up the team itself.
Poor leadership will cause an organization to crumble.... so you have to start at the very top if you want change. Otherwise you are simply changing deck chairs on the Titanic.

Maybe a decision was made, only partly financial, that it was better to win a play in series then get destroyed. The alternative is get destroyed in one series in the first round.

The ole lesser of the two evil defense. Sorry Cole BS I should have drank cool aid with lots of sugar instead of beer last night.. No decision was made. I like this team and Stevens has a secure job is the MO. Ainge is lying to save his sacred ass just like Joseph Smith.. Maybe Ainge has the missing golden tablets. This year has been one fuckin lie plain and simple.. The accumlation of poor draft picks like Gwill Edwards Lansford Semi and many others... The stupid free agent signing of Walker has finally caught up. He scores 30 gives up thirty and Smart is so friggin' slow with his feet and his mind it's almost criminal.. Adding TT and trading Theis just compounded the situation.. RWill is now looking like another poor pick. Does Prichard ever get an assist.? . He has one decent game followed by a no show all friggin' year.. He deserves his 12 minute backup roll and nothing else.

Tatum scoring 9 points when he scored 60 the other night is frighteningly disappointing. Does he feel that Brown not playing he was double teamed which allowed Kemba to score 33? Only way this team can win is with Tatum, Brown & Kemba scoring 75 points among them & Smart & Prichard 25 pts and the rest 10-15 pts +. I don’t think Golden State has the players surrounding Curry(and Klay has been out too) but he is a constant 30 point scorer. The C’s defense is mediocre so the only way they can win is with a better offense and it is erratic!
It has been said by a few...blow the team up starting with management & that includes if needed Tatum & Brown.
I did have a little joy yesterday...Red Sox won, Yankees & Lakers lost. Going forward will root for any team that plays the Lakers and we can’t have LeBron return and bring them a championship. Davis played very well with 36 points and had Schroder played(maybe just a little bit less good than our Tatum, Brown & Kemba, I believe they’d won only losing by 5 pts.

I know Brad ... they wanted it (needed it) more than us ... when will we "want it?" WTH does Stevens know about matchups? "They're a tough matchup for us," coach Brad Stevens said. "Obviously, I think they played really well. No shit Sherlock..

Well boys looks like it could be a quick exit for our boys this year! Kemba played great, Fournier played very Good! Shot 39 threes and made 11, not many assists to be had! I'll ask again, who did fat boy Smart guard? We'll never win anything as long as he has a major role on this team! Tatum was a no show, you can't be a superstar and be a no show! Pritchard and Nesmith, both needed at least 10 more minutes than they got! Anytime 2 fifths of your starting 5 is TT and Smart, the other 3 all have to play great! Well I'm sure Danny will make some great moves this off season!!
