The Padres-Dodger rivalry is certainly heating up... has to be great for baseball, particularly on the West Coast.
The Dodger-Giant rivalry got tired/lost something along the way but Fernando Tatis Jr is ready to take the SD franchise to the next level.
Great fun....
Should be great to watch, at least from afar.
Up close in SD may be a different matter.

Well, it is not a rivalry until the Padres actually do better than LA...LA is still more stacked despite SD ramping up...right now it is more like the rivalry between a hammer and a nail... Head to head, the Padres have outplayed the Bums so far this season.
They are clearly making a statement that they have arrived.
Yu Darvish seems to have found the fountain of youth.
He did nothing for LA a couple of seasons ago.
ZERO!!!
Manny Machado is a liability IMHO.
Very bad karma.

Langsford... Meanwhile the SD Padres did a TV contract whereby most of SD cannot watch the game... at the first time they have been competitive in history..The Padres-Dodger rivalry is certainly heating up... has to be great for baseball, particularly on the West Coast.

Nathan the scab? You guessed right. From afar? I'm not convinced on anything i have read or heard. Now they say i'll need a another booster in a couple months. Mexico has a new booster and you need only one. All that money you donated to the wall for Trump went up in smoke..

Padres are the only show in town, and they definitely have got some players...I would love to see them win the division, but I just cant get to emotionally invested...not yet anyways...
And btw, I hate the one and done wildcard crap...play 162 games and get a one game playoff?...what a load of crap...

Sounds like I'm more emotionally invested in the Padres than you are. They are exceptionally (scary) good!!!
Hard to disagree with your wild card gripe.
Morale to the story....
...avoid being the wild card entry at all costs.

You should go and visit again. This is a good time for you to go there. That was downright mean Prak, knowing 1M peeps lost to the Rona over last 3 days ... Jeesh! On the money admin.
Track these exchanges, I don't start them. I ignore some but I am not giving him the poetic license on targeted posts any more.
There is a very simple way for these exchanges to end.

Randle killing it. At some point this guy was waived and with no team. Where was Danny? So there is hope for Jabari Parker? The Celts lost yesterday because of the Parker experiment. Defense broke down and getting him involved in limited offensive sets led to turnovers. Perhaps it is worthwhile gamble to work him in. We will see. Parker was Ainges afterthought. We could have tried to acquire Randle back then and kept Rozier. Now we have had the Kyrie, Kemba and now the Jabari experiment

Now we have had the Kyrie, Kemba and now the Jabari experiment True. Looking back, the Kyrie move was the worst. But then, we were hungry for success, had a younger Horford and a healthy Hayward. It was time to throw the hat into the ring.
By the time Kyrie left, the only choice was to run with the Js. They were not stepping back. SO here we are in the middle of that phase.
