Random thoughts from last nights game; I reiterate that this is a mediocre team. Short handed, tired, whatever tonite excuse is they are not good enough to get it done. No surprise that Grant Williams followed up his team leading -16 last night with a -10 tonite. Not sure what some posters see in him but dude is undersized, non athletic and not as bright as announcers always say! He is less than a JAG IMO. Tatums stats say he had a decent game, being 1 rebound shy of a triple double. Eye test says differently. He had 27 points but took 26 shots to get them! He was a +6. Lastly he missed ANOTHER game ending shot. Superstars make them shots. I don’t remember Larry missing one of them, ever. TT with 17/10 his best game since week 1. One of three starters to have a positive +/- rating with a +5. (Trivia- who was the third? Answer below) So where was he in the 4th with the game on the line?? On the bench! Real smart Brad!!! Dude only played 22 mins so he should have had gas in the tank! Any NBA team that has Javonte Green on the floor at the end of a very close game is closer to being a lottery team than a contender. No surprise Green “led” the team with a -15 in only 14 minutes!! Most surprising stat of the game; the horrible looking Jeff Teague was a +5 in 23 minutes, (trivia answer) While teams continue to drive the lane multiple times a game with no D to be found, (Scal mentioned this several times),Taco sits on the bench getting splinters in his a**. RWill with a nice game with 9/8 but only 1 block? Sure looked like he had more. He clearly altered several shots. C’s gave up 35 points in the 4th quarter! Contenders get stronger as the game goes on, not wear down. Q you have to realize Brad is experimenting. I mean Nesmith couldn't have helped us last night? Tacko? Jaylen running the offense a little more? How about playing Thompson in the fourth quarter because he was piping hot at 17 and 10 through 3 quarters? I agree with everything you stated! I realize he is experimenting, but still! He puts the UDFA Green on the court and like you stated he couldn’t give Nesmith 1 minute?! Which one is supposed to be your future?! And you and I totally agree on Taco, and JB.

I’m sure your right on thiis, just seems like the C’s can’t make the money shot. Tatum has technically hit 2 game winners this year right? I guess the MIL hit the shot clock but it still technically went in yeah I’m not counting the Bucks shot cause he didn’t yell BANK......lol

yeah I’m not counting the Bucks shot cause he didn’t yell BANK......lol He called game!! When I was a kid, pretty much the same as the rest of you, I was taught to shoot the bank/off the backboard shot...I was blown away by the older kids around the neighborhood who transitioned into the 'swish shot'...
I also remember the start of the 'Fosbury flop'..but whatever...

Was he listed as questionable before the game or is this cover up BS? Scott Agness: Myles Turner is listed as questionable for tonight in Milwaukee due to a sore right shoulder. If he can go — I expect him to. It’s the Pacers’ first time on national TV this season. 23 hours ago – via Twitter ScottAgness Injuries, Myles Turner, Indiana Pacers I understand the love for Miles Turner. I also notice that Turner has taken off once the Pacers lost Oladipo (and LaVert) and Warren. He is producing more, perhaps at both ends of the floor, with greater usage and involvement. Perhaps Indiana should continue with his current usage rate.
I don't think that usage rate is feasible in Boston.

All but the final 3 minutes
I don't remember Tristin playing any in the 4th!
I punched up play-by-play stats for Q4 and it gave me Q1 ... looks like he came in with .07 left in the Qtr.

Those teams that passed on Tyrese Haliburton, are gonna be sorry for a long time!! He's gonna be the real deal! The Kings have a good young team, I don't see them giving us Barnes! Maybe Bjelica! Thats right, he did slip.

With the March 25th trade deadline less than two months away, HoopsHype spoke with eight NBA executives for their thoughts on Drummond’s trade value. Four of the executives polled felt Cleveland could get one or two second-round picks in exchange for Drummond. Last season, Cleveland gave up a 2023 second-round pick as part of the compensation to acquire Drummond. “He’s a premier rebounder,” one Eastern Conference executive told HoopsHype. “However, on the flip side, he’s an impending free agent making $28 million. Therefore, a contender needs to send out multiple players (likely dead weight) and an asset (a second-round pick or possibly two).” – via Michael Scotto @ HoopsHype Trade, Andre Drummond, Cleveland Cavaliers

“They might be able to get a protected first-round pick because it’s an expiring contract, but matching the money on any deal for Drummond will be hard for a contending team,” another Eastern Conference executive told HoopsHype. “A rebuilding team would probably have room this summer that they can use to sign him. They wouldn’t want to give up a first or any pick to get him if they are rebuilding.” – via Michael Scotto @ HoopsHype Trade, Andre Drummond, Cleveland Cavaliers

There needs to be a 3 or 4 teamer involving Kemba.
Pritchard has changed our need for Kemba along with the J's growth.

I don't see the Cavs wanting Kemba so maybe they could flip him to New Orleans and we get Lonzo too.
TPE for Aaron Gordon.

Trading Kemba right now will be tough. I think the focus is on using the TPE and ADDING to the team, without subtracting a great deal.
