Game 7 will be on BS. If BS cannot find a way to free up Kemba against what Toronto is doing, then he has failed. If BS cannot find a solution for our 3rd quarter woes, then he has failed. No reason for Toronto to completely take Kemba out of the game as well as dominate us after halftime like they've done. It's BS job to counter that. No, Kemba is just a midget and he suxxxs....what does he and has he ever contributed?...spirit?...wow...let's hope we can trade him for something...

We need Hayward's leadership and it sux he is injury prone, but we can not compete without him...not with this group of youngsters and Kemba as the leader...no freaking way...

I know the Raps starters logged a lot of mins but I fear this may catch up to us in game 7 (young legs or not): "the Celtics, had their starters on the floor -- without a single sub -- for the final 22-plus minutes, going back to 23.5 seconds remaining in the third quarter."C'mon Brad! Fresh legs will always win an OT game! Never forget it was seldom-used reserve, Glenn McDonald, who rose to the occasion for the Celtics in 3OT in game 5 of the 1976 finals! He scored six points in the third OT to lead Boston to an exhausting 128-126 win. FRESH LEGS BRAD!!!!
Powell scored 10pts for Raps in final OT ... freshest legs on the court.

Jaylen is already 10 times the player Kemba will ever be...and Jayson is just getting warmed up...younger and not as wise as Jaylen...
but as Fierce pointed out, Le Queen did not win a title until his 9th year...who the heck knew that?...

So a question is that if Jaylen does not start to get the props that Jayson does despite Jayson sukking half the time, Jaylen moves on before we can realize what this team can accomplish...Giannis is out, a miracle...and we are poised to blow it?!?...

Chalk this one up to a coach’s victory. Nick Nurse surprised the Celts with a small lineup that matched well and Brad was not prepared for that. We will be in the next game. Just hope that our players stay in the moment and not get off-balance because of the situation.

I cant believe we let the series slip. Just like that. Out of a miracle shot. Lowry had a great game. With 5 fouls, no one on the celtics side thought about trying to scoop that 6th??? Remember Paul Pierce on a wheelchair? The Lakers were in control of that Game 1, 2008 Finals, until that wheelchair incident. Everything changed after Pierce returned. The Celts were more confident and the Lakers were never the same after that wheelchair moment. Same thing happened with the miracle shot from Anunoby. It gave Toronto new life. I'm going to look at this from a glass half full perspective. If the Celts can pull off a Game 7 win, no doubt in my mind Celts will advance to the Finals and win the championship. I was not sure if the Celts can beat Kawhi and the Clips before Game 6 of this series. But after seeing what the Celts went through in this Game 6 and if they pull off a Game 7 win then this Celtics team can beat any team.

What happened to our "size advantage?" Lowry 33pts ... FVV 21pt ... Powell 23pts Celts won rebounding battle, 58-46, for the 6th straight game. Points in the paint also went to the Celtics 42-36. Lowry and the Raptors just kept making big shots down the stretch.

Exactly...pretty much sums it up...hard to even come here this morning...
We are a much better team with Hayward...can't believe he is hurt again...
Still cant believe with 22 seconds on the clock and we have the last shot in regular time that Kemba dribbles around drives inside and gets swatted like a fly...Brown or Tatum should take that...if Hayward was on the court it would have been different...he can pass and he can create his own shot if needed...I cringe when Kemba dribbles the ball...

The morning after! I'm seeing a post about the Celtics WINNING THE CHAMPIONSHIP if we can pull off game 7 tomorrow. Really? Slow down Fierce. That same post states that AFTER last night's game (a loss to Toronto), the Celtics can beat Kawhi and the Clips for sure. HUH? How do we go to posting about the Clips after a game 6 loss to Toronto? Am I missing something?
A few points, if I may.
Our single focus, even on this fun board, should be how to solve this Raptors team and win game 7 and what we saw from last night that might impact the outcome in the Celtic's favor.
Second, anyone who will easily dismiss Miami is just being a homer. There was no team in the East playing better than the Heat. They have six capable, very good wing players that can make things difficult for our wing players (Butler, Herro, Robinson, Dragic, Iguodala, Crowder) with solid rookie Nunn and all star (2nd team All Defense) Bam Adebayo. Oh, and Kelly O. Again, underestimating Miami would be the end of our season.
As for The Finals, I'm sorry but I cannot even begin to reconcile how we'll be playing by then so, for me, it's keeping it simple and sticking to game 7.
Last note, having a "size advantage" means NOTHING in the NBA. Having a size advantage means nothing if you don't take advantage of it (see Sixers in round 1). The "size advantage" that Toronto has shown during this series is the SIZE OF THEIR HEART. The Raptors have had the "size advantage" in this series and that aint got nothin' to do with rebounding numbers.
If the Celtics showed more heart and mental toughness, this series would be over.

That was a crazy performance by Lowry. The officiating sucked. We took advantage when they put a SF in at C, but not enough. Nurse should have been T'd up when he was on the court and Tatum tried to pass to him, maybe even ejected. Too many rushed possessions down the stretch and into OT. Gasol getting in foul trouble helped them, because it led to more minutes for Ibaka. Theyre a better team when Gasol isnt in the game. Their bench is better than our bench - and it showed greatly last night. They had 65 minutes, and 38 points from their bench. WE had 39 minutes and 16 points from ours. We arent deep enough to shrug off Haywards injury.
On to game 7. Early line has Celtics -1.5. Feels right to me. If they use that small ball lineup, we have to make em pay early and often.

I have a gut feeling that officials will make up for last night loss on game 7. Its how the nba operates. And that will give us the edge to win game 7. Too many errors from what i gather.
