We need bench scoring? Who has been saying that all along?
Brogdan killed us.....Beal killed us......Booker killed us..........and we are talking about bigs?

We certainly needed a big at the end of the game last night because THeis was fouled out and RWill wasnt available. However, if Brogdon didnt go off or if we had someone on our bench go off, the game would have been well in hand anyways.
I generally thought we havent needed a big. I thought upgrading Theis would be helpful but not necessary. But Im starting to come around on needing one because Im losing confidence in RWils ability to stay healthy.

I have a feeling that if SMart played, we would have won. I think with Brogdon being so hot, BS would have used Marcus to slow him down and it prob would have worked. So there were a lot of things that hurt last night 1. Smart not being available 2. Brogdon going off 3. Continued underproduction from Bench 4. Theis fouling out 5. Brown fouling out 6. Rwill not being available

I been trying to tell you guys, we ain't doing shit til we get an upgrade at center! Smart would have helped tonight! Tatum and Brown didn't play good at all! No scoring off the bench, again! If Carsen Edwards is not going to shoot, he doesn't need to be on the court! Kemba played great! Wait 'til rook Edwards has a bigger impact on this team than JayBee.
We'll be in great shape.

To me, it matters a lot about RWills health. I think the trio of Theis, Kanter, RWill is good enough to compete for a title, but if RWill cant stay healthy - we may need to make a move there.

I agree. They are trying to solve the problem internally. Bench help may be a bigger issue. I'm SURE (without proof) that Danny felt Edwards, Langford and Kanter would be big bench help, and they still may......but not at the moment.

There is no doubt this team needs some bench production as well as more consistent play from our bigs, whoever we utilize, but we'll always struggle when Jayson Tatum gives a very unimpactful 16 points and Gordon Hayward is essentially a non-factor. We won't win when that happens.
We are way too small and we're not getting much from our bench but we are still able to be in the game. I think it all starts with Tatum. He gets 25 last night and I believe we win.

OUCH!!!! Edwards is headed to Maine as I post.
Having Smart back should help with bench effectiveness.
He should also help shutting down Holiday twins who have no business scoring 35 pts.
And JT needs to be far more assertive when needed to win a big ballgame.
It can't all fall on Kemba to the tune of 44 pts.

One midget down and KY and Fierce's little buddy gets sent to that frozen wasteland. Two of the biggest idiots here. Both predicted his greatness. He'll be there for quite a while.. Truth is Walters is a better PG than Walker. He leads a team and scores... Someone said this was a TEAM game ? WHO TF was it? It's the PG'S job to get Brown shots and keep Tatum involved.... Walker scored over 30 lots of nights only to see the Hornets lose. Nothing new here. Wait till the playoffs if Hayward fails the team fails. Brown's 8 assists says maybe he might save us but Walker won't... 8 fuckin years it took Jordan to see the light. Ainge has locked us in to 4 more years and a dim future.....

Waters . He's averaging 8.6 assists and can pass... He's also 5'9"! Has he been called up? Not sure but he will be and he's listed as 5'11 like Walker not that i believe any numbers..... I have no issues with midgets who are a pass first PG. One 5'11''' shooting guard is enough. Walker fills those shoes he just can play QB.. Night after night when a wings like Tatum Brown and Hayward get as many assists as the PG speaks volumes. Hope that cold wave got KY and your frezin your ass off. I have Coal WVA is giving it away free . I see those two dummies Rand Paul and Moscow Mitch have ruined the hemp market. Might want to find another line of work maybe cleaning stables for the Horse folk. Bluegrass my ass it's greener than the spot behind your ears.

I don't expect Theis or Kanter to show up, step up and lead like I do Tatum. I did include Hayward if you read my post but Hayward sustained a nose injury and left early. He cannot contribute if he's not on the court. When you're second leading scorer is having the night like Tatum is having, AND SINCE A LOT OF OUR OFFENSE goes as he goes, I think you he has to take a larger burden than most. That's just how it goes.

I cannot tell a lie, PeeWee;
Three of us (Me, Myself and I) suggested that hoops is a team game.... and that someone needs to tell KI... who just might chase Wilt's single game scoring record against the Cs.... and still lose.
Waters is definitely a 2nd unit PG... definitely!

PS..... I'm the biggest idiot on this board..... but fiercy and KY are giving me a real run for my money.
The difference is that of the three of us I'll admit it!
Them???

Nah Pud i'll take the honor of biggest idiot. You don't come close... Might be my one and only award i ever won.
Waters is a second team QB and my guess is his defense is worse than Walker. He can pass the damn ball ..
KI will score 50 against us but i don't think we play them for a couple months.
Why we lost Pete? Not just Tatum Hayward wasn't there at the end either.. He leads the team Tatum doesn't.......

Hayward was hurt. He was unable to be there. He left because of a nose injury. I'm not placing as much blame on a player who got injured and had to leave the game as I am the number 1A option who WE NEED to step up in crunch time.
We don't need Theis or Semi to step up in crunch time. With Brown having fouled out, Tatum HAS to step up and get it done. It's as simple as that. But I'm not saying we lost because Tatum did not step up. But had he stepped up, we probably would have won the game.
