Superstar Tatum 17 points in 17 minutes.
Knicks fans must be thinking, "didn't Kobe retire already?"

Smart 0-6 in 1st half ... let's hope he doesn't devour all of the shots that Brown s/b getting. Soon hopefully Smart goes back to the second team and Pud sends him a note to stop shooting... He hasn't played well with Walker. This should have been a cake walk without Morris their leading scorer. On another note. Sense Doc moved to Baltimore he has stopped posting..

Doc is tired of Fierce's "superstar" posts ... Speaking of JT ... found this today re his recent play:
Jayson Tatum is going back to mid-range shots
Tatum has taken 21 shots from 15-19 feet over the last five games. He had taken 19 in the previous 13. That means he’s gone from just under 1.5 shots per game from mid-range to 4.2 per game. The 15-19 footer is now the second most taken shot by Tatum in the past five games.
He’s shooting 33.3 percent from that 15-19 foot range, so it’s not like he’s hitting them at an acceptable clip.
His shots at the rim are down by one per game, but his percentage on shots less than five feet from the rim have soared to 64.3 percent over the last five games, pulling his season percentage up to 47.3 percent.
Tatum is still figuring himself out, so this is all part of the process. My fear is that he’s reverting to bad habits he’s comfortable with instead of continuing to attack like he did earlier in the season and then try to figure out how to tweak his finishes.
Mid-range shots aren’t always bad, but they are Tatum’s crutch. He needs to be careful about leaning on them too much again.

Smart's gunna go nutz on the next guy that hits him (by accident or not) in a Portis imitation if the refs don't start protecting him. Just like that a two pt game after a Kemba three and Kanter put-back.

I find it difficult to be positive when we at 13-5 don’t dominate a 4-15 team even on their court.
