Hayward is getting me all stoked about this team again... Need to see two games in a row, which it may be too late until playoffs Hayward has been good for the last couple of weeks, just my feel...

If tonight is an indication we should get by the 1st round playing with home court or not and that’s good for those who are also Red Sox fans as I don’t believe any Champion has started the next season as horribly and it’ll be good to have the TV on basketball.

Gordon is 9-9 & 3-3 with 21pts ... he hasn't missed! Kyrie must be having 2nd thoughts about the Knicks with Hayward playing like this and the possibility of Davis being added to the roster. HELLOOOOOO...Davis is going to LA...geez...and Kyrie can go wherever he wants...he is not a team player despite his talent...

I know you guys would never, ever 2nd guess CBS.
Luckily our dumbazz coach took your advice and FINALLY put Hayward back in and off the Cs went, just like you predicted.

Try convincing Danny ... you're preaching to the choir.

Horrible night for Peewee.
His most favorite coach (Cora) loses big... and his least favorite coach (CBS) wins big.
OUCH!!!!!!!

Who's minutes is JB taking when he comes back? Hayward and Tatum both need around 35 minutes a game, come playoff time!!

I can guarantee you, I was watching!! I thought that was the start of about a 4 year title run, but Lenny dying and injuries ended that!!

I remember most LB laying on the floor trying to alleviate his back pain while Kevin limped up & down the court with his ruined ankle ... a crude finish to an exciting era especially with the Lenny news ... Ugh!

I wonder if Wanamaker can steal some of Rozier's minutes in the PO's ?

Just tuned in couldn't take anymore of Rick Porcello getting thrashed. If this keeps up i'll expect a trade for some pitching by the Sox soon.
Talk up here is the starters are missing their fav catcher as they can't seem to stay away from the center of the plate ... Cora dismissed that as an excuse.
yea i overlooked that Leon is in AAA. I respect Cora so i default to his opinion.

Is it all pitching the problem or has the offense been anemic?
I profess to not having seen more than 1 game so far ...

Who's minutes is JB taking when he comes back? Hayward and Tatum both need around 35 minutes a game, come playoff time!! Exactly, this has been the problem all along, not enough minutes for the talent we have, and a college basketball coach who thinks he can just pull people in and out, and wont play rookies like R Will...so Danny is a dick to not get rid of Rozier who is not worth crap now and Kyrie who is leaving and who cares...a big mess...

Gordon Hayward's surge is making Celtics projected Big-3 a reality By Tom Lane
That was the original idea, wasn't it? Assemble a Big-3 of Al Horford, Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward and go for it. Season-ending injuries to both Gordon and Kyrie derailed that notion last season, but it is coming to fruition now. Hayward may be coming off the bench, but he isn't playing like it.
In Boston's 112-102 win over the Miami Heat last night, Hayward was aggressive. He scored 25 points on 5-of-10 from the field, 3-of-5 on threes and 12-of-13 from the foul line. He grabbed eight rebounds and handed out five assists, but it was the 13 free throw attempts that really got our attention.
Hayward is trusting his ankle not to let him down, while shooting and driving into the paint with authority. He is now clicking nicely with the other two members of the Celtics Terrific Trio. Al had a stat line of 21/8/4 (points, rebounds, assists), and Kyrie had 23/1/4.
The question remains as to whether Gordon will remain on the second unit. Now that his health and athleticism are back, it can be argued that he should be in the starting unit. But it seems that his experience, savvy and clever decision making are needed off the bench. He will get ample time with his Big-3 teammates and should close most game for the guys in green. The Big-3 are finally clicking - just as we envisioned.
