This was Shaq advice to Kyrie prior last night game:
The NBA legend and TNT basketball analyst advised the Boston Celtics point guard on how to boost his team’s fortunes Tuesday night during the “Inside the NBA” broadcast. O’Neal believes Irving should mimic sacrifices he made at various points in his career, in which he lowered his personal offensive demands in order to allow his younger teammates to flourish.
“When you’re the man, a lot of responsibility comes with that, and the main responsibility is your team has to play well,” O’Neal said prior to the Celtics’ blowout win over the Golden State Warriors, per Boston.com’s Jon Couture. “… Right now, since the All-Star break, they’re not playing well, and I’m going to go on record and say it’s his fault. Because when we’re the superstars and the team don’t play well, it’s always our fault. It’s our job to get it fixed.
“It’s a simple fix. We’re all superstars up here and we all did one thing to make us great and make our teams, our players great. Sacrifice. Sometimes, Kyrie does a little too much.”
“As a superstar, the best decision I ever made in my life was to let my young dogs play,” O’Neal continued. “When I first came in, it was all about me. I wanted to do it by myself. There was a kid named Penny Hardaway (in Orlando). I let him play. We both went to work. Then when I got to L.A., I left Orlando and I wanted to do the same thing … as soon as I said, ‘You know what? Kobe [Bryant], play with me,’ best decision I made.”

We also shut him down offensively. I think he'll be a problem in the playoffs - for them! Kerr will sub him out during close games, and at the end, and he will NOT be a happy Boogie!! He won't be able to play real minutes when it counts. Why do you think they're looking at bogut? He can still score and rebound, but he is so exposable defensively. And then he gets frustrated and compounds the problems. Bogut is also slow but much smarter and will play within himself. 100 % agree. And Bogut has signed.

There are two things that will be different in playoffs.
1) Klay will be back. Excellent defender. But, more importantly, you have to really respect his shooting. That means one more person that you need to be aware of as he is scampering around. He and Curry have excellent ability to move and relocate to get their shot off. Our switching defense may not stay as crisp.
2) With Bogut and Green, they will have two excellent defenders and rebounders on the floor. They will have enough offense and these two will be setting solid screens. The interesting thing is that NBA is calling the game very differently from when Bogut was playing. So we have to see how he adjusts. But the Warriors will definitely become more physical with him on the floor.

I don't think bogut has to adjust. Having seen him play he was just hands up Zone kind of guy playing a loose man to man because he had to. Much like Baynes his footwork always had him at the right angle to cut off a drive. I don't see any problem there. He's going to go under screens. That's why he was always so effective when Russell Westbrook had the ball when I watched him in Oklahoma City. Neither he nor cousins are going to get over the top of any screens. Look for most of the minutes at 5 to go to green come playoffs. Certainly if we were playing them you'd see Horford and green playing Five almost all the time. I think we would both go small. Heck I think we're made to mirror them going small, but generally more defensive minded.
