If the Celtics win tonight, the losses to the Lakers and Clippers and at Chicago would MEAN NOTHING.
We won at Philly, lost a close one at Milwaukee (that I felt we should have won) and now we're at Toronto.
If we win tonight, I think the message is clear.....we can beat anyone in a 7 game series and those teams would be put on notice.
We win tonight and the Celtics will again be talked about as the team to beat in the East.
Let's put the east on notice tonight in a big way!!

Part of that is why I think they don't mind seeing the Celtics lose some regular season games. If you think about it, if the Celtics split the first two games in the second round, it all barely matters.
Other teams remember regular seasons, but not the Green Team

Even at the risk of wearing out his players before the playoffs Why and What changed this year?

Raps playing smart basketball. Something Boston doesn't see very much.

Need more aggression from Tatum, as he knocks down his 1st jumper.

C's looking content jacking up shots from the cheap seats, while Toronto gets easy looks with ball movement.

Smart tweaked his leg, now Morris seems to have landed wrong on his wrist/hand...

Actually looked like Morris took a good shot to the face.

Brown is lagging to far from his man, who's hit his last four 3's. Guys have to stop caving so far in on penetrations.

Brown needs to be on a team that can rebound and fast break.

Brown attacking for the and1. Very nice play by Brown to strike fast right after his man scored on the other end. Smart play...

Brown needs to be on a team that can rebound and fast break. That Celtic team when Sullinger played his last season with Boston was a fast breaking, very fun team to watch. Brown would have been awesome on that team.
