I am not buying the whole "we didnt have so and so and we still lost by 1pt" or the "we played bad and lost by 1 point". Panic time is over, we didnt do any trades, didnt acquire anyone, the problems still persist. We want to come and blame the guys that get the job done when our leader is not playing. A bit unfair. Leader is not being a leader and thats a fact. Wants to play hero ball and thats killing this team. Killing this team simple as that. Let me go by saying that we have a better cast than Milwaukee, that is, minus Hayward and minus Baynes. So no excuses. At this time of the season, we should be cruising even against the Bucks. We should just be head to head with GS. We should actually be #1 in the east. I am not enjoying this season. We play boring basketball and I am losing hope right now. It is too late way too late to say we will get it. I love watching this team when Kyrie is not in otherwise, I see the same issues going on and a very unattractive style. I want to really love this team, I want to say that we will get it but once again, it is way too late for that. Supposed to be a 5 year plan in 2013 i believe. Well it's 2019 maybe we will have a plan i 2020 i hope. If not both Ainge and Stevens might have to clean out their desks. Ainge will throw Stevens under the bus first is my guess.

Tough game - really nice team. They will be trouble for anyone they play in the playoffs. I'm less enthused about our chances now. I thought this game was huge, and we didn't come through!

Refs do the best they can considering its a near impossible job.
They are given the benefit of the doubt in most sports (except wrasslin' and roller derby) by most reasonable fans and that benefit is well deserved.
Fans who bitch the most won't get turned off by the missed calls. They love to complain so they aren't going anywhere. Those fans simply do what they do what they do!

I'm not bitching i see bad calls on both sides consistantly but making 4 or 5 mistakes in the last two minutes is unexcuseable . Impossible job? Never heard that piddley excuse. Poor training might be an honest excuse.

I stand by my statement... posters simply like to complain from afar.... if not about Cs management, then about the league office or the officiating.
If the Cs play their game, they don't have to worry about missed calls affecting the outcome of a contest... or of a season.

Sorry, I reserve the right to bitch about refs. Especially when they deserve it. And I think it's pretty obvious the NBA uses its officiating for hanky panky. All for the good of the league, of course.

Then the league office.... the team management.... the players themselves.
All very easy targets.
Pick one!

Poor training leading to inexcusable mistakes?
Yes it does it's proven people who have better traning perform their job better . Why are there apprentice programs or classes and or degrees?
I've always had employees which i attempted to train for their benfit and mine.
Doesn't always work. Some don't apply themselves and some simple are not ever going to be capable of doing the job
I've said no hard fealing but your in the wrong type of work it's in both of our best interest that you move on. Good Luck
Pretty simple to me i had to keep the people i was working for happy with my work. If not i had no work for me or my employees. Silver just blows it off my guees is because he thinks the average fan is an idiot and forgets quickly.
Fire some friggin' refs would be my plan.

When the players start playing perfect games, is when I'll start worrying about the refs making mistakes!! Basketball is not a perfect sport!!

Not necessarily!
Well somebody has to be shooting the least FTs in the league just as somebody has to be shooting the most FTs in the league.
Most teams rank somewhere between most and least.
So what?
That hardly suggests some form of favoritism in my mind.

I don't believe we are fouled the least, I guess
I believe the league uses officiating for marketing purposes. Our fans are stable. Tickets are bought. We only care about June anyway in the end. Bucks need an historical year

The NBA “Last Two Minute” report was just released, and it says Morris was indeed held on the play. However, it was one of four uncalled fouls on the play. They were, in order: An offensive foul on Kyrie Irving for setting an illegal screen on Khris MIddleton A foul on Middleton for holding Morris A foul on Giannis Antetokounmpo on Irving’s drive Another foul on the drive on Eric Bledsoe So the entire play, according to the NBA, should have been a turnover on Boston because of the illegal screen. After that, the play was riddled with fouls on Milwaukee. Also of note, the NBA says there should not have been a 24 second violation on Brook Lopez on the jump ball before the final play. The significance here is that even if Boston had rebounded the ball, there would have been less time on the clock. There were also a couple of un-called turnovers on Antetokounmpo. At this point, there’s nothing that can be done, which is why some people question the necessity of these reports. The NBA, however, touts the transparency of the reports as a way to maintain openness and trust with the officiating. www.masslive.com/celtics/2019/02/nba-last-two-minute-report-shows-four-fouls-on-last-play-vs-milwaukee-bucks.html
