cole, I felt it was our lack of offensive cohesion. The Bucks started the 4th quarter with a 12-0 run and that was mostly due to our continuing to jack up 3-pointers and missing.
If we had executed our offense better for just half the quarter, we would have won by double digits, easy. Oh, and stop the layup line by Milwaukee.

I see the Wiz are at 1-6 tonight at home vs the thunder. What has become of the wizards? I feel like we crushed their spirit.

Green Envy: What Bucks fans said - 11/1/18 By Connor Casey
The Boston Celtics hit a franchise-record 24 three point shots on their way to handing the previously undefeated Milwaukee Bucks their first loss of the season. Giannis was a beast, but the C's limited the Bucks, the best three-point shooting team early in the season, to 9-29 from beyond the arc. Boston has ended two undefeated streaks in the past week, and are looking at a five-game road trip against some tough Western Conference teams on the horizon. With that in mind, lets take a look at what Bucks fans had to say after their team suffered their first loss of the year!
Pre-Game
Why does Ojeleye from the Celtics look like a budget version of M'Baku from Black Panther? (M'Baku wishes he was Ojeleye)
Tonight will tell us a lot about this team if they're a possible 60-win team and Finals contenders in the East.
I'm eager to watch KMidds destroy the C's as is tradition (Not so fast, friend)
We may never lose again. (Well..)
Brad Stevens your suit is shit and your tie is too long (Baseless accusations about our future president will not be tolerated)
LETS GET STARTED
Projected starting lineups - Bucks
PG - Eric “Aqua Dagger” Bledsoe (Ha!) SG - Malcolm “Brogdon” “Our President” “Brogdon” Brogdon SF - James Khristian “Khris” “Kha$h Money” Middleton PF - Giannis “The Greek Freak” Antetokounmpo C - Brook “Brookie The Wookie/BroLo/Muscle Comb” Lopez
Head coach - Mike “Not a Potato” Budenholzer (Can confirm that Budenholzer isn't, in fact, a potato)
We're losing tonight, aren't we? Was so hyped to go 8-0 (Some early optimism from Bucks fans)
I rather us lose (especially to the Celtics) than to remain undefeated especially since our West Coast games start after this (Silly Bucks fans aren't familiar with winning just yet)
Horford is a nerd and drives a Prius ( He's environmentally friendly you uncultured swine)
It's like there's some kind of Belichick-type hex on the rims when we play in Boston. It's crazy
Win or lose, I hope these teams get to play in the playoffs. What an epic battle it will be.
They have had so many open looks it make me wonder if our defensive system is broken.
Tommy Heineken calling someone fat is laughable. (He's a national treasure sir have some respect)
Alright the game is in reach we just need to make another run but knowing the Bucks they'll probably get the lead and still lose.
Damn I knew the last few weeks were just a great dream
We're playing the three really really badly. Especially those slip screens, wide open shots for Boston.
If we never played Boston again I wouldn't be upset.
Wow we've forgotten how to shoot.
I SEE ALL THE HATE ON MY FELLOW AUSSIE Aron Baynes and while I'll admit he's not the prettiest man alive please don't be too mean!..Also let's go Bucks! (Just a little Aussie-on-Aussie love)
Can we drink some of Mike's Secret Stuff or something to get back into this game?
Of course Kyrie comes back to life against us.
Who's worse on commentary, Weber of Miller? (yes)
Start the second half allowing a wide open corner three..Sounds like a good plan guys.
Can't wait to win a game in the Garden (Don't hold your breath)
It seems like Bud SPECIFICALLY instructed them to let their centers take wide open threes from the top of the key.
Now these assholes won't miss a three.
Their half court defense is really slowing us down. Not the greatest half, but both teams are missing shots and it's low scoring.
Celtics defense is no joke. With Kyrie/Hayward being slow they're still winning games off that alone.
Looking like how we played last year, so many pump fakes from three into predictable drives. Then collapsing on defense leaving guys open on the perimeter.
The Bucks are looking like the part of Space Jam when the players lose their basketball ability.
I'm going to say something that might be controversial here...our big men might need to step outside of the paint when they are guarding Horford...I'm just saying.
What were they chanting?
-I heard "Can't be stopped," but I don't know if that's right..
--Yankees suck, they are chanting Yankees suck. (Welcome to Boston)
Another national TV game where we look like garbage? Please no.
If we win, I think the whole national spotlight bullshit is going to start. Every week is going to be "How long until Giannis is in LA?" (Lucky for you, you won't have to worry about that)
Ridiculous, Kyrie hits Kemba shots all night long (I'm sorry, Kemba shots..?)
Yeah, outside of some 4th quarter heroics this is looking like a big fat L. Our three's are just off and they continue to generate good looks and sinking them.
The sheer weight of the Celtics fans is shocking to me. I haven't seen anyone that's not over 300lbs yet. (I resent that)
This chick in the Geico commercial is shooting like the Celtics tonight.
I knew this would end up being one of those games I just lurk on the box score on the ESPN app instead of the pain of watching it live.
Damn, of all the teams to lose to I really don't want it to be Boston.
Celtics are better than us, I mean, we all knew this. It's still annoying, but we just gotta keep beating up on the lesser teams. That's step 1 in becoming a great team.
Man, this would have been another kick in the nuts if the Brewers had played Boston in the World Series and lost. (#DoDamage)
This is when I turn off my TV and sit in darkness. (Welcome to my Tuesday night)

Milwaukee is not an easy team and they are well coached. If buddenholzer was able to make Atlanta a team that would keep coming back at you, expect no different from Milwaukee. And last night, that was the case. They did a good job keeping it close. We hit 43.6 from 3, thats not bad. Is it?? Our forte has been defense. This year we have that and a better offense. Its a matter of time to see this team hitting from all cylinders. That is 2s and 3s. chrisjey, the Bucks are a very well coached team, true. But we're a better coached team. And they are pretty good. But, in my opinion, we are far better than they are. When we pulled away in the 3rd quarter and had a 15 point lead, with momentum, THAT is how we should have played throughout and beaten them. Outside of Giannis and Middleton (who I love), they really don't have anyone else that scares you. I like the rookie DeVincenzo but the Bucks have nowhere near the talent that the Celtics do. We have, by far, more talent than Milwaukee and we're better coached too so, in my opinion, we really shouldn't have a problem beating them. We should not have had to battle the way we did to get the win last night. This team should NEVER give up 35 points in ANY fourth quarter. That's "money time" and we almost imploded, offensively and defensively. although i agree that talent wise we are better, there is something that have happened before against Buddenholzer. He seems to have Stevens numbers. I agree, we should have continued playing the way we did when we built the 15 point lead. I still think the season is young we will be much better or we should get more better.

When the Algebra of the game ‘just don’t add up’!
By Abacus Reveals
If I’m Milwaukee Bucks new Head Coach Mike Budenholzer today, the numbers from last night’s loss to the boys who’d knocked them from last spring’s playoffs must seem more than a little mystifying – his team shows an edge in virtually every category.
Generally, the outcome of a basketball game is revealed in the overall FG%, total rebounds and total turnovers – hold a statistical advantage in two of those areas and you win. (I think it was Dmitris-UK who once dubbed this the “Two out of Three Rule.”)
It turns out that last night at the TD Garden wasn’t “Generally.” The Bucks outshot Boston .482 - .446 and out-rebounded the C’s 45 – 42 (49 – 48 when we add in significant Team Rebounds). Milwaukee held an 11 - 4 edge in Follow-Up points, and they worked their way to 30 Free Throw Attempts (good for 12 conversions) compared to 13 FT tries that earned but half as many conversions.
And while Milwaukee committed 14 Turnovers to the Celtics 13, Coach B’s feisty Bucks were able to generate 16 points from Celtic miscues while yielding only nine off their own misplays.
But the Stevens Syndicate took about twice as many three-pointers (55 – 29) and made damn near three times as many (24 – 9).
It’s a strange, strange world we live in, Master Jack – er, I mean, Coach Bud.
Abacus Revelation for the Road
And here's the most improbable part of this numerical conundrum -- the "Equation of the Game" suggests that the Celtics should have won by more.
Both teams had 41 successful FG's, but Milwaukee had 12 "Free Throw Conversions" to Boston's six, creating a 53 to 47 advantage. In other words, the Bucks had six more "stops." Milwaukee +12 points.
But the C's earned 22 "Striping" points (24 treys minus two missed FT's) to a mere ONE (nine treys, eight missed FT's) for the Freak & Co. Boston +21 points.
Brad's boys really should have won by NINE.

A game of basketball is a complex thing.
The thing I noticed was the free throw disparity. Remember, we were winning at the end and shot several extra. Yes we had to foul giannis and they played more inside but still.

I'm not 100% sold on KI.
We were absolutely fine w/o him last season (we overachieved in fact!!) and swapping him for another needed piece might work just fine for me.
Pud
Pud, I thought like that too but it seems to me, although still early, that TRoz has taken a step back. He's trying to do too much instead of letting the game come to him. He's pressing too much and needs to just play. You're right, last season these guys overachieved. I don't think you can factor "over-achievement" into your overall plan for success over the course of a season. Petey:
I've not been paying too much attention to TRoz so far this year. My eyes have been focused on KI and Gordon and waiting for them to round into form and wondering how adding two AS's into a roster that went to the ECF will affects things.
TRoz is down about 3.5 PPG and his FG% has dropped a bit. It has to be jarring to go from 2018 playoffs averaging 17/6/5... to KI back up once again.
Lets see if he figures things out by mid-season.
Luv your new avatar, amigo!!
