So, this one went down to the wire and the refs initially called a charge on Curry on his move from the top of the key to the rim when he was side tracked by a three car accident as Smith sideswiped him and Lebron cut him off with a moving block.
The refs somehow managed to review video to verify the call and indeed turned it over when it was obvious that LBJ was moving and it was a block rather than charge.
Game ended in a tie but in OT the Warriors scored the 1st 7 points ...
With 1:23 left it's 119-111 Warriors ... James has 50pts ... has he makes 2 FTS while the fans jeer him with a chant of "horder" ... LOL!
GSW is gonna win this one ... 122-114
There is a hoop God ... Cavs LOSE!
Now with 2.6 secs left a skirmish as Thompson jams the ball in Green's face and get's ejected after Curry & James started mouthing off to one another ...

Apparently Thompson was ejected before the Ball-2-face move for a flagrant elbow ... F2 so free trows and the ball but no technical for the ball2face since Thompson was already ejected.
Hmmm, Narcus... food for thought. Harass your opponent after getting tossed and there's no fine or penatly to the team.

yeah, Curry telling the Queen he might want to pass the ball once in a while...nice to see class win over crass...LeRoid acts like a lunatic when he does not get every call...

Dubs got lucky, got to OT, LeQueen was playing 200% bully ball and getting away with it...then the Dubs actually started playing their ball again and sinking their shots, making great quick passes...win by 10 or so...

Whew! Dodged a bullet. How could KD let JR Smith get that offensive rebound? KD has been a shell of his old self this year. No hunger.
Other than the Celts winning, nothing pleases my heart more than to see LeBron lose. Doing so in person makes it even sweeter. Though I have to say that he played a whale of a game.

I surely do admire LBJ's basketball skills.... but hate his constant whining/crybaby tactics (ala Harden). He expects every call every time... and for me that seriously detracts from his overall appeal and makes rooting against him oh so very easy (not that he cares). And J.R.Smith is such a loser while I am at it. How dumb can an NBA player be?
LBJ to the Celtics? BARF!!!! Pud

That's why I could root for Doctor J but not Magic.

When J.R grabbed the rebound with 5 seconds left in regulation and dribbled the ball out to 3 Pt territory with his back to the basket.... I was utterly confused.
I thought he must know something I didn't know.
He didn't.

Pud I thought he was going to dunk it in the wrong hoop...guess he thought that they were up by 1 and was dribbling out the clock?...that is what they say anyways...I think the guy is scheduled to make 30 mil next year...Le Bron the GM did a great job with that...

Pud Did you see him act like a lunatic for a whole minute after he called called for his very first foul with only seven minutes to go in the game?...acted like it was the biggest injustice the world ever saw...funny thing is, my wife dislikes him more than me...I have to remind her to be mellow around Cleveland fans....

Cool to be able to go see the game...and you and your family aren't divided about who to root for...took my son to a game up there when he was a young teen, happened to be Chris Mullin bobblehead night and he came down from the upper (press?) booth and sat down two rows in front of us to say hi to some friends of his...regret not bugging him for a signature, but my son did not want to start a frenzy, also he was just some old guy to my son, not a current player...Also saw Artest in the parking lot on the way into the game, he denied it was him, said 'No, Artest is a bad man" with a smile...pretty funny, my son laughed...

Also cannot believe the refs had the spine to call LeRoid for his second foul with under two to go, blocking the lane...

We saw how 51 points from Lebron is not enough to beat GSW.
Ainge needs an upgrade.
I prefer Kawhi Leonard IF healthy and WILLING to play for Boston.
Right now GSW is the team to beat.
They have 4 elite players on their roster.
Celts need to keep up.
Adding Kawhi will give the Celts 5 star players.
Kyrie Tatum Hayward Horford Kawhi
Best 5 in the NBA if that happens.

Don't need Kawhi.

GS was -11 favored in Vegas. Amazing that they almost made the spread winning by 10 in OT. But, as was our game 7, it was nip and tuck all the way so I feared it could go anyway and if the Cavs were able to get off the last shot with seconds remaining, it would have been a huge upset. It shows too the value of having Allstars...we had Horford only. Shame we didn't win game 7 with Love out. Cavs played better than expected and LeBron was a superstar with 51 but Love contributed 21=72 pts. Warriors, however, with their 4 stars got 92 pts. Curry put in some early daggers as in OT score tied he shot 2 threes in a row & GS never looked back. Amazing stats...Cavs got 53 rebs to 38 so 15 extra chances while GS picked up 4 extra chances with TOs 11 to 7 only. But with fewer shot chances a big difference was the Warriors shot 51% to Cavs 44% so needed fewer rebounds.
I had been reading articles that was this finals was the biggest mismatch in history and many were predicting a 4-0 result. And it may still be for if I were a Cav fan, it would be considered a heartbreaking loss playing so well in Oakland. If they continue to play well , they could steal a game or two at home. And reading those articles, I lamented because even without our superstars, I don't think we'd been predicted to be blown out...both good defending teams, both cause turnovers, both good 3 pt shooters( they a bit better), no LeBron type to muscle his way driving to the basket and no domineering Embiid, Greek Freak etc. 7 footer in the post.

It's not that complicated.
More star players gives you more chances of winning.
It was not so long ago that there was talk of GSW getting Paul George.
If Ainge can improve the team by getting Kawhi Leonard, Ainge should do it!

My guess is that if the Cs can score Kawhi, we will have so many chances of winning that the league office will be forced to cancel the 2018-19 season and simply award #18 banner to Beantown.
fierce is right as usual. It really isn't that complicated, amigos.

Collect as many bright, shiny, expensive pieces as we can.... and the banner is ours.
What could possibly go wrong?

Crap, maybe I have to start calling you and Pud The Truth instead of Petey... but I have to say adding Kawhi would be super groovy...except for the costs...if we lose Horford and Rozier I can deal with it, even if they both excel with da Spurs... Not into losing Brown...

The problem with OKC is they have 2 problematic star players. Westbrook and Carmelo are the opposite of what you would call team player. Just look at GSW. They have 4 star players and they will now win a 3rd championship in 4 years.

Not into losing Brown... Spurs will not do the deal if they don't get a superb young player like Jaylen Brown. Kawhi has to be healthy if Ainge does get Kawhi. Having Kawhi makes Smart, Rozier, and Brown expendable. You don't need Smart, Rozier, and Brown if you have Kawhi.
