We dont have the shooting or the speed to play small ball. Also, if everyone else is going small....Our best option may be to go huge and bang. Foul em, and foul em hard. Get in their head. Bully, bully, bully. Make them absolutely dread playing you. And when it comes down to it, yes throw a punch.

I suppose i broke some rule by using a banned name. I'm sorry won't happen again. The point for the ones that CAN'T keep up was . We need a PG more so than two guard. Murray is fine if Rozier works out and we trade one of our many two guards. Besides it drew Pud out i was worried since he's posts here so little lately. My advice to you Hedley is put me on ignore before your head explodes. Did you know that Murray has been a PG until he started at SG in college? He can play the 1 or 2 and may actually be a better 1 than Rozier ... jury is still out on that one.

I think I would take a 40+ yr old Jermaine Oneal over 90% of current NBA 4's in a fight. League's gone soft, take advantage. Zag by going big/physical when everyone else is zigging.

Mostly just going by the opinions i've read in the draft reports. I like Murray and Rozier has yet to prove he's a real PG despite all my hype. If we could unload a guard or two which im all for Murray would be a great improvement. I still would take Okafor or Noel and let the 76ers have him however. If we can pick up Gasol and keep the three pick i might change my mind on Noel or Okafor and keep Murray. I think he may be less a risk than Brown or Bender.

How did this thread end up about Rondo? Rondo is done here, he is irrelevant to any Celtics conversation. I believe there is a separate forum now for non-Celtics related matters. This is supposed to be about Murray hitting 79 out of 100 3's in his workout for the C's. That Murray kid really impressed, and I think that Murray kid is making the brass think about taking him. That Murray kid is now in the Bender, Hield, Brown conversation. Amen and thank you!!! Yes Murray is a good shooter. I have seen him on international competiton and havent been that impressed but who knows.

As far as Rozier goes I know he flashed good stuff during the playoffs but other than that I've seen nothing that tells me he's a PG or ready to play major minutes on a regular basis. To me, he's still a whopping big mistake because he's on a team bereft of talent, was a #16 pick and STILL can't find any playing time! That tells me all I need to know! For this team to really improve it needs better talent in the forward position, guard position and center position - in other words, EVERYWHERE!. The center position is the hardest to fill with good, steady, reliable players and if you can capture one, you'd better do so, especially if they are young.....so I'm all for Okafor or Noel. You need shooters? You can find shooters if you want them bad enough, heck, BUY THEM. You're still going to need dcecent PF's and a good SF, not to mention a true PG who can shoot and isn't a little person. There's so many positions we need to improve our talent level in it's pretty funny we won as many games as we did. It's either a testimony to how great a coach Stevens is or how truly awful the NBA product has become.

So, you don't blame Brad Stevens for not developing the #16 overall pick, who spent a majority of the year in the D-League? I'm with you - he is NOT ready to be our PG.

Who is interested in Rondo? I cant wait to see the contender that would like to have him on his team. It won't be us we like PGs who can't pass. You and Pud said he would be playing in China last year. How did that prediction work out. Just like the one we'll be going deep in the playoffs last year. I suppose we be going to the finals this year. One of these years perhaps you'll get lucky. Besides i said that's probably what Rondo wants not what he gets. I'll be taking some bets he'll be signed to a two year deal in the NBA next year and not in China. You and Pud need to get a Pay Pal account and ante up mine is well funded. Listen to you who said that Sacramento was going to go into the playoffs and be a dangerous team. That same team let Rondo walk out of the door.

We were discussing this the other day watching the Clev/warriors game. Completely soft. Its really sad how not letting the guys play is affecting the game.

I said Sac on paper had a playoff roster. They still do. Obviously the Karl Cousins feud trumped that.

Rondo/McLemore/Gay/Cousins and Stein with a bench of Collison, Belinelli, Butler, Caspi and Koufas is NOT a playoff roster in the West! Seriously??

If we take Murray we kill two birds with one stone (PG & SG) and Rozier becomes trade bait unless Turner isn't retained.

You are entitled to your opinion and whether you said that Sac was a playoff team on paper or whether you said Rondo will be MVP, you are entitled to those and I respect that. With that being said, I do feel I am entitled to share my opinions and sayings as well.
