It's early but Brown may have arrived tonight.
Tatum will be right behind if he continues to get the minutes as is likely now.

Gorman says its a clean fracture with no ligament or blood vessel damage what does that mean? Not out for the season?

Given Hayward's injury, they got over it well. Too bad the outcome. We can that J&J can play. What a bummer about Hayward. Hope the injury is not too bad.

We could have used just a little more production from Horford tonight. He's gotta be better. These young guys will look to him when the game is on the line.
Good showing.

Means it s/b a clean fix ... one and done unless a pin needs to be removed in a few months but that would be minor surgery.
Considering the severity and look of the fall we may have gotten the best outcome ... still sucks but a chance he returns this season where if it had been a leg break probably not.

I don't mean to start barking on this guys' production already this season, but he HAS to produce more for these type of games this season (statement games). Saw a lot of that from him during the season last year. But I loved his emotion out there tonight. Really tried to get this young team past that tragedy with Gordon by setting an emotional example.

Are they moving him to Boston? I hope so. Medical capital of the world. Best of the best in the medical community.

The Celts are notorious about misreporting injuries but if true, this is a relief. Bone repair time is 6-8 weeks. Follow up with rehab means he can be back this year. Still a big bummer. The Celts will miss him sorely but you have to like the prospects of J&J.

Reportedly he's being moved directly to a hospital in Boston ... I assume that means surgery asap
Chihlas said 4-6 weeks after surgery ... he said it looks like compound fracture or break and ligament damage giving the 3-4 month time frame. Better to have a fracture but this may be a compound fracture and/or ligament damage. Good news now is that its a clean break (no ligament/blood vessel damage) so I assume that would cut the time some. He estimated March (3-4 mos) with time for reps to prepare for comeback. If all remains good it could be sooner ...

I would add that both the Cavs and Celts medical staffs reviewed the test results and came to same conclusion (apparently) ... if the Boston Surgeon confirms no compound fracture then that would be the best news we could hope for.
