My random thoughts: WOW! That was an ass-kicking. Everyone contributed. I want the CAVS, the Magic are a bad matchup for us. But I hope it goes 7 games, so Zinger can rest. I said 5 games, but I thought we'd lose Game 3. Is Petey happy? Sign Derrick White!! Brad got Executive of the Year, but let's not forget Tillman and Springer who he got at the deadline this year. Those two will help us next year. Springer is a giant muscle, and is a very good defender. Tillman has good feet, and is very active and efficient on offense. Hauser was a stud, hope he keeps it up. Thank you for everything, Mike Gorman. You will be missed. That's all for now.......great job boys!! On to the next round!

well, Giannis has been out for 21 days and counting with the same injury, so there is that.
Boston will have resign Tillman if they want him around next year though, I'm not sure either side will want that since He's only used in garbage time right now.

But then I thought maybe they will groom him to be Al's replacement. Way more minutes next year, then step into the 6th man role the following.

Facing them in the first round this year, I still feel like I could have played a lot better and a lot more relaxed. Maybe put a little bit more attention on myself than I needed to. Slightly off topic... but I had to laugh!
SFCelticFan used to constantly decry San Francisco as a terrible, sh1tty place to live.
Well thousands of sea lions don't seem to think so down at Pier 39.
Besides the anchovies are running and plentiful in SF Bay.
BTW, I hope SFCelticFan is still with us and enjoying the current season.
We miss you, fella!

www.yahoo.com/sports/mayor-bass-deletes-tweet-lakers-184441009.htmlIn the aftermath of the 108-106 loss that sent the Lakers into the offseason, this message appeared on the mayor's verified X account: "Tough season, but at least we won the in season tournament! Proud of our team, @lakers." While the tweet was certainly well-meaning, Lakers fans likely weren't in the mood to hear about any kind of consolation prize at that moment. Meanwhile, fans of other NBA teams certainly were happy for more fodder to ridicule L.A. for coming up short in the tournament that actually matters. The post was soon deleted and replaced by one that applauded the Lakers for their effort.

These fine locals and their anchovy friends have been calling the SF Bay area home since before the Ice Age arrived.
And the lions have the combined heft to squat in place and to resist any efforts to evict.

I hope this is the beginning of the end for Giannis and Embiid. And it seems like twilight time is coming for Harden, George, and Leonard. Dame is way over the hump.
Good riddance to all!

Lakers fire darvin hamm, to which I say, "who?" A very genteel, unwavering, happy sendoff by the Lakers.....
"We greatly appreciate Darvin’s efforts on behalf of the Lakers and recognize the many accomplishments achieved over the past two seasons,” Lakers General Manager Rob Pelinka said in a statement. “We all want to thank Darvin for his dedication and positivity. While this was a difficult decision to make, it is the best course of action following a full review of the season. This organization will remain unwavering in its commitment to deliver championship-caliber basketball.”
So when does Pelinka resign? That should not be as difficult a decision to make!

I guess winning the in season tournament wasn't enough! Lakers and coaching staff may have peaked in "dedication and positivity" a wee bit too soon.
