This was probably Kornet's best game as a professional basketball player. He might have made some mistakes defensively, but he was excellent offensively - much, much better than I thought he could ever play for us. Props to him, especially after the rust of the last few weeks.

Brown got 30 on only 16 shots took Tatum 31 last night. What was the odds we win missing 3 of our top 6 players against a half decent team ? No Zinger really hurts our D... Took the Hornets tonight with 15 pts.. I'm still in at halftime.. Beal's ist game back i figured he was a bit rusty.
Beal only has 4pts at the half!
Your down 10 w/ 5pts in the money - hope they hold on for your sake.
That $1K get you a nice return or did the extra pts kill the payout?

Good on ya mate!...betting on a 17 point spread is pretty freaking obvious, but did any one of us but you do it?...you know dang well the Celts are not going to deliver on that...Celts got the win AND so did you...

Mazz pushed all the right buttons tonight! JB, White, and Kornet all had great games! We've got 2 tall tasks coming up Sunday and Tuesday! Those 2 points from Banton won us the game!

Well, Kornet just won the game for us... I do however very much like Queta... Kornet won us the game? 🤔 Yeah, his batting the ball out of play (and not out of bounds) as the clock wound down won us the game...great positioning, great play... Give credit where it is due...

I'm picking the Thunder to be in the finals! I don't see a team in the West who can stop them!

Well, Cole is liking that...but my money would be on Denver...and don't count out Curry, ever...or fricking LeQueen as much as I hate to mention him....errr... And what about Khwai if he ever decides to play a couple of games in the NBA again?... There is some strength in the west...

WOW!
Suns beat Hornets by 14pts and Dee had Hornets w/ 15pts ... Congrats on the 1pt win ... You're on a roll!
Rozier had 42pts and Beal just 6 in 30 minutes.

Shooting struggles mount again for Jayson TatumJayson Tatum fell to 34% from three, just north of the lowest mark of his career, before going further downhill in late win over Pistons.By Bobby ManningWhile an ankle sprain could undoubtedly exacerbate his struggles from deep, Tatum’s 29.4% mark on pull-up threes ranks last for the entire season among players who have attempted 5.9 per game. It fell to 26.9% across his last five games. So why shoot them? The Celtics have tried to mirror a technique utilized by star guards like Steph Curry and Damian Lillard, pressuring defenses with the threat of the long pull-up to raise coverages. For Boston’s offense, which tries to utilize screens to create body advantages behind the defense, a higher stance by the defense helps space the floor. On nights where Tatum shoots 2-for-11 like on Thursday however, the shots seem to bail out the defense. Against the Clippers, his 5-for-10 outburst from deep made the Celtics’ offense unstoppable. “There’s a difference between shot selection and shot making,” Mazzulla said. “I think he’s taking good shots, he’s just not making all of them and I thought tonight, he did a good job adjusting his game, getting to his spot, whether it’s at the nail or whether it was in the post, and he drove with physicality, he drove with pace and he made the right play. As great as he was, I thought we played great as a team and there were times where he screened, there were times where he handled and I thought he just did a good job of ‘one part of the game’s not going well, how can I affect the game in other areas?’ He did it with his drives and his defense.” Tatum’s approach: ... attempting 44% from [of] his shot attempts from three for the second straight season while drawing fewer free throws and rarely attempting mid-rangers. He’s shooting a slightly higher percentage of his shots at the rim than last season, a testament to Boston’s commitment to the post-up, but his drives are down to 8.6 per game from 11.2 last year. He’s also averaging 3.6 transition possessions, down from 4.2 in 2023.

OKC took it to Denver by 26pts ... look out West coast wannabees! Denver is built for the playoffs. Not for 3 in 4 mid-season. Esp ending with the thunder. Still believe celts are clear #1. This celtics team is improving with time but the thunder are on an even steeper slope. In linear terms the celts started with the higher B but the thunder have more M When will either start to flatten?

bench showing more and more that this is a championship team. Hauser played very well on both ends. Q is showing he is deserving of more minutes and Kornet with a big don't forget about me statement game. bodes really well for the key to the playoffs, keeping Porzingus and Al healthy. I liked Brissette's minautes and he was very effective on the glass. all in all a great bench game, regardless at home and against the Raptors.
I could easily see the Raps making some moves to break that team apart. they may have waited too long even on Siakam and Onunoby.

can someone explain to me the teams thinking on back to back games?
the last two they played both Pingus and Al the first games and then they both were out the second one.
this makes ZERO sense to me.
I mean you already know that AL is NOT playing ANY back to back games, so if Pingus is playing game one shouldn't AL be out that game in case Pingus can't go the second game?
I swear it seems like lack of prior proper planning.
and as I was taught years ago
proper prior planning prevents piss poor performance

Don't see how Hauser made the bench better last night...................... It's a rough day when a guy scores 9 points, after two stinkers in a row, and that's a "good" game. Our bench was outscored 31-24..............still not a championship level bench.....sorry. We need more scoring. I don't like blowing big leads, either. Getting the W is what is important now. However, if we had more conisistent bench scoring, we could rest our starters more during the game, and then they would not be tired at the end..........leading to more convincing wins, which, apparently, is more important on here than having the best record in the league. Brad will do something, and soon, but I'm just enjoying the ride right now. We are just 17 wins away from us all cooking up so crow pie for Pud to enjoy.....

Mazz expected a two point win. Not on National TV. He expected Lurch to have his ist great career game after three years.. Tatum was out and not and not jacking up bad step back threes and dribbling time off the clock showboating. BTW. Tatum had on an even more less tasteful coat on the bench last night than on you avatar..
