Like I've said all along, to keep pick #3 should be considered Plan B, as DA's doing everything he can to trade it. However, in the event that DA doesn't trade pick #3, you can expect the Celtics to draft Marquese Chriss. Why? Chriss has the most value.
Pick #3 is not a 'needs' pick. And I'm not sure why Blakely is suggesting that "Jaylen Brown is our guy"?? When all is said and done, I may never read another one of Blakely's stories.
EVERY GM IN THE NBA IS FALLING IN LOVE WITH CHRISS. When the draft is over, trading a player like Chriss or Murray will be a lot easier than trying to trade a player like Bender (2-3 years away from being 2-3 years away) or Jaylen Brown (the true Kedrick Brown comparison if you dying to compare someone to Kedrick Brown).
Chriss is versatile like Draymond Green. Chriss attacks the basket like Blake Griffin. And Chriss has good-looking 3-point mechanics, unlike just about every player on the Celtics roster.
