So here we are ... Game 7 back in Boston. Don't look back on the games that should have been won but forward to the next game that will be won! After being criticized for getting HCA and having to play the Nets in Round I for that right, now we can move onto the Eastern Conference Finals vs Miami Heat with a win vs the Bucks in The Garden on Sunday afternoon. If there's any justice in the NBA for fighting to get HCA, on Sunday we will witness "charges" and "traveling" calls on Giannis Antetokounmpo and he will be in foul trouble as he should have been in this entire series.
The Garden crowd will be insane and historically it's been very difficult for the visiting team to come away with a Game 7 win in this arena save for maybe LeBron James in recent years. If the noise level doesn't distract you the bombs falling from Tatum, Brown, Horford & Smart will!

Why do I say it's historically tough to win a Game 7 in the Garden? Take a look at the stats: Here are the results from every Game 7 Boston has ever played, beginning with an NBA Finals matchup way back in 1957. 1957 NBA Finals: W vs. Hawks 1959 Division Finals: W vs. Nationals 1960 NBA Finals: W vs. Hawks 1962: Division Finals: W vs. Warriors 1962 NBA Finals: W vs. Lakers 1963 Division Finals: W vs. Royals 1965 Division Finals: W vs. 76ers 1966 NBA Finals: W vs. Lakers 1968 Division Finals: W vs. 76ers 1969 NBA Finals: W vs. Lakers 1973 Conference Finals: L vs. Knicks
1974 NBA Finals: W vs. Bucks 1977 Conference Semifinals: L vs. 76ers1981 Conference Finals: W vs. 76ers 1982 Conference Finals: L vs. 76ers1984 Conference Semifinals: W vs. Knicks
1984 Conference Finals: W vs. Lakers
1987 Conference Semifinals: W vs. Bucks 1987 Conference Finals: W vs. Pistons 1988 Conference Semifinals: W vs. Hawks 1992 Conference Semifinals: L vs. Cavaliers2005 First Round: L vs. Pacers2008 First Round: W vs. Hawks 2008 Conference Semifinals: W vs. Cavaliers 2009 First Round: W vs. Bulls 2009 Conference Semifinals: L vs. Magic2010 NBA Finals: L vs. Lakers (Away) 2012 Conference Semifinals: W vs. 76ers 2012 Conference Finals: L vs. Heat (Away) 2017 Conference Semifinals: W vs Wizards 2018 First Round: W vs Bucks 2018 Conference Finals: L vs Cavs
2020 Conference Semifinals: W vs. Raptors (Bubble Arena/FL)
A win on Sunday will give the Boston Celtics their 23rd Game 7 victory at home (vs just 7 losses over 65 yrs) if it happens ... and their 34th game 7 appearance overall.

Remembering the greatest Game 7s in Garden historyThe Celtics have played a Game 7 on the Garden floor 22 times in franchise history.
By Brian Robb / May 15, 2017No franchise has played more Game 7s (29) in NBA history than the Boston Celtics. While the Celtics have a terrific overall record (21-8) in those contests, they are even better in Game 7s on the Garden parquet. Boston is 18-4 all-time when playing a Game 7 on their home floor, and those contests have produced some of the most memorable matchups in playoff history. Here’s a look back at five of those unforgettable contests.

You know the charge block thing I can kind of see, but some of the traveling has been ridiculous. Even call that and maybe 3sec on Lopez and we should be good

Let's hope we get a little home court refereeing, but I think Giannis feels he can do just about anything he wants because the referees won't foul the 'superstar' out of the game...

Another good reason for the team to continue is that it gives us much pleasure(without insults) keeping the forum/chatting alive discussing each game & what we feel is necessary to go forward. If we lose, GOD forbid, although I will watch other teams, it’s not as exciting. And for us the only thing left to discuss is the draft.

Q1:
Giannis already got away with 2 charges!
C's keep missing and Bucks keep scoring ...
Tatum a 3 ... 10-6 Bucks
Lopez answers with a 3 ... 13-6 Bucks
TIME OUT CELTICS

The Milwaukee Refs started on fire. The non-call on Giannis' clear as day offensive foul set the tone for them.

Missing 3s and driving to the basket Lopez blocking. Still need to drive to the basket. We were not given a couple of calls!

What the heck is Brown thinking when he is four feet from the basket and then makes some lame pas that gets picked off?...Shoot the dang thing, draw a foul...don't make some wimpy soft pass!...
