Smart 2 for 11 3's, 7 turnovers, missed 3 free throws, but wants to be the hero! White was even worse! Ime terrible lineup on the floor at the end of regulation and OT!!Thank God we have Tatum and Brown!

Why does smart has to change the way he is playing? I know cs need scoring but I wish smart has thought more about facilitating, just like he is been doing, than been the ball hog. He forgot about team ball and decided to jack up 3s. Just head scrather

he needs to step up now for sure. we need another player that Udoka can rely on in the rotation and he or Stauskas or Hauser need to be the guy. keep it up young man, GRAB your chance!!

He forgot about team ball and decided to jack up 3s. Just head scrather I totally agree. For me, I don't care who is on the court. When you have a game in your hands to win, go get it. Go win it. I was disappointed in Smart's play last night. He was very irresponsible with the ball. I had had enough when he led the break and Nesmith was running down the sideline and Smart tried a long, underhanded pass that went into the stands. I am literally asking Smart, through the TV, "what are you doing"? Between his horrible passes, terrible shot selection (both from 3 and at the rim in major traffic), and failed attempts to split defenders, I was very disappointed in his play as a leader last night. He took 25 shots.....way too many. Was also disappointed in Ime's failure in the waning seconds for failing to call a timeout to set up a play. To me, it seemed like he wasn't coaching to win. He seemed happy that we fought the way we did without four starters. With the final possession, IMHO, he had the wrong players on the court. There was NO WAY you let that last possession play out without having PP and Hauser on the court. Although last night wasn't PP's best shooting night, I would have preferred he be on the court for the final possession.

Smart had, Hauser, Neismith, White, PP and even GW which all can shoot better the 3 than smart himself. This is where I blow a gasket with the coach. Damage is done. We are happy that we fought hard. Issue that I have with such a comformist thought is that it was a winnable game.

Me, I look at it through a different lens. When you play 46 minutes of winning basketball only to resort to individual, hero ball from players who aren't "offensive" heroes, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. We did a great job in the first half working the ball around tallying assists while getting great looks. When it counted we stopped doing that. I blew my gasket too watching Smart try to "take over" and miss shot after shot. But you're right, if Ime doesn't do anything, then he'll keep chucking up the bad shots.

Very gutsy effort by the C’s last night, but I can’t stomach the fact they lost a game they should have won! Up 4 with 56 ticks left and Smart try’s to play hero ball, Grant turns the ball over and White had a forgettable game. Was wishing Ime would have called a TO when we got the ball with 12 secs left to set up a play, and again at the end of OT when the C’s were clearly in disarray. Oh well, gutsy loss but I feel sick because we should’ve won it.

Smart, White, GWill aren't players who are used to having the ball in their hands at the end of games, making good decisions. We looked like clowns at the end of the game. Ime was content with a gutsy effort instead of going for the win. Just like that, down to #4 in the east with Miami coming to town tomorrow.

We snatched defeat right from the jaws of victory! So many times Smart tries to be Magic, but instead ends up being tragic!!

Like he did Aaron last night. So yeah, he was coaching to achieve team development goals. Winning would have been a byproduct.

No poster epitomizes the power of negative thinking more than you do.... and that's your MO.
My thoughts: Perhaps IUD can use this game as a teachable moment for Marcus who needs some direction/supervision/good coaching at this point to help him understand why the Cs lost last night.
If he doesn't, well that's on IUD.
After all, Smart has had a simply tremendous 2nd half of the season with his leadership and defensive intensity that has helped put this team in contention for a legit title shot.
Who knew?
Well some of us certainly did... and some didn't!
That you want to hammer away gleefully at him for having a lousy game sez a whole lot more about you than it ever sez about Smart.... but knock yourself out, Ky!
Go for it...
Don't let me cramp your style!

For a guy who's not a month in to his 24th birthday, he's got a lot of "The only other player to do this" awards!! If he stays a Celtic, there's no doubt in my mind, he'll be a op 3 Celtic of all time!!

So Celts are in first in the Atlantic, and with a win tonight Celts tie for first in the East with the Heat...need to rally the troops...
So far as RWill goes, as much as I would like to see him play, I would probably not push his return this year...
I see Pud getting his 50, but two more losses in the next 6...not a bad run overall...if we did not blow so many games in the fourth quarter in the first half of the year, we could have coasted down the stretch...
