From what I have seen from PP. I'm almost ready to call him a professional shooter. He just needs more consistency.
He should NEVER short rim or airball a mildly or uncontested shot and he does occasionally.

If a guy averages 5 for 20. That is better than Grants 2-4? No way. Some of those misses go to the other team and is virtually a turnover. most games Grant don't make 2. Hence his 1.5 average. 0 last night in 34 minutes I thought that was 1.5 MADE. Lol

We already had him. His name was Marcus Smart. We got two Marcus Smarts now. Two good Marcus Smarts is a great thing. Its not their fault our shooters have not developed enough. Having an overabundance of Marcus Smarts is not a good thing when you have no true shooters on the roster. One Marcus Smart is fine AS LONG AS you have a pure shooter out there too and we did not fill that need. Just more pressure on JT and JB when we have streaky scorers on the court with them. That's why we have so many problems when a team simply goes to a zone defense. We're an NBA team and we cannot solve a zone? A zone gives us trouble? Should not happen with the right personnel. Try running a zone against Miami with all that shooting. Run a zone against BKN with their shooters.

Our two Marcus Smarts were 2 of 12 shootin 3's last night! Would you want two Patrick Beverlys on one team?? No maybe two Tatum's. 2 of 12 last night from 3 32% this year. His job description is shooter much like Tatum made an executive decision not to lob Gwill the other night, he made another executive decision to take the 3's himself, in stead of going to White or Smart, in most instances this would be a good decision!!

Almost every team is treating us as a barometer so we are getting their ultra best effort. No matter how good you are that wears you down over time. Who is treating us as a barometer? Are you serious? We aint played nobody. We played an undermanned BKN team......They aren't treating us as a barometer. We crushed the Sixers by, what, FITTY.......They aren't treating us as a barometer. Who is treating us as a barometer? The Pistons? The Pacers? They won't even be in the playoffs. Do you really think beating PHI and BKN is a barometer for where they are?

What happened to GWill and his high percentage perimeter shooting?

Grant can only hit open 3's, when White and Smart are on the floor together, Grant won't get open 3's, no reason for his man to leave him!

As we enter March, we now have a bench with much less on it than what was on it during the successful February. To me, that is not a good thing. We seemed to have taken a step back post-trade deadline.

I never meant to suggest having them on the floor at the same time would be optimal in EVERY situation!

I think the word is out, Celtics only show up for big games. If you're crappy and you do want a win, you can get it if you work hard enough.

My only question, why not Chris Clemons?

Must be because he's 6-7 instead of 5-9.

The old back-to-back excuse... Whatever that's pathetic... Our coach is a clown and needs to play deeper into the bench... Right on all points! Thanks...I know a little hoops, not much, but a little...
Just got back from 4 days of chasing my 9 year old son all over two mountains...last time we went my 34 year old son hung tight with him...took some of the pressure off...
Got him going on a snowboard for the first time though...he did well, and feels good about it...first day on a snowboard can be the last day for lots of folks...he does see the benefit of skiis though...And I myself am considering going back to skiis for the vast majority of days that are non-powder groomed trails...easier to traverse flat spots and no buckling the rear foot in and out on each run...

I find the back to back games fall back inexcusable. the C's have what now, 8-10 of these inexcusable losses this season? for me, that speaks to leadership and depth. I am not a fan of how this team filled out its roster after the moves they made. I was fine with what came in and what went out. but the resulting holes were not properly filled, when they could have been.

Well let's put it this way if a football team played a game on Saturday and then had to play a game on Sunday the very next day would you be surprised if that football team lost that game?

Or how about an amateur sprinter and a professional sprinter. The professional sprinter has to do a 40-yard dash while they non-professional sprinter has to do a 20 yard dash. Would you be surprised if the professional lost that race?
