The Charlotte announcers got so hyped when Bridges dunked. But when Jaylen hammered one on his head, they didn't show half the enthusiasm (although on the reply one did say "Grown man basketball").
Good win Celtics.

I think Schroder should start and Smart needs to come off the bench. Langford or Nesmith needs to start. We need to have a SG that threatens the defense.
I also don't like the Horford-RWill starting 5. If Udoka continues with the Horford-RWill front, then Schroder needs to start in place of Smart.
If only one of the starts and JT and JB are at the forward spots, then we need to have another SG starting with Schroder (not Smart).

THE BOSTON CELTICS. THIS IS A QUALITY WIN. Great job Celtics. My reverse jinx at work. I used to could make terry rozier have a good game like that. Marcus smart sometimes too...oh wait, the best example was Avery bradley. You guys remember the day everybody ever in the history of bdc came here to dump on Bradley, and I said he was going for 20 now. And I believe he got 30.

Ok Petey, we love you..........but time to man up here. You said we'd get run out of the gym tonight......LOL.
Great win by the boys in Green. Still have to defend better, but we are on a little roll now!

Smart does have his critics.... and deservedly so.
However, despite his offensive woes and warts, when the game is on the line, Marcus Smart, no matter who he plays for, no matter what city he represents, will be on the court making HUGE defensive plays.
He is your classic 6th man All NBA defensive stopper... PERIOD... FULL STOP... END OF STORY!
Newbie coach needs to sit him down and have a long, long talk about his importance to this team and how Smart needs to maintain his focus on both ends of the court.... and then make him a team captain!

Tatum had 72 total points in B2B games. He played very efficient basketball both nights.
Honestly, Tatum could average 29-30 points a game with the right focus. If Brown could stop dribbling drunk, he could average 25 per game himself.
I think Schroder is our 3rd scorer. We just need a better starter in place of Smart.

Wow, somebody apparently knows a whole lot about basketball personnel. PERIOD...FULL STOP... END OF STORY! You can't explain it no betta than dat! Dang, and it seems that someone ALSO knows how to manage people too - sitting them down and COMMUNICATING with them AND THEN making them a team captain. Executive management traits right there..... More efficient contribution from Smart in regulation, no overtime. you asked about Kanter nothing official from the NBA but this says money is involved.. Nike has a large pocketbook and a large voice. Boston Celtics Player Enes Kanter Calls Out Nike on Uyghur Labor Stance... NBA star Enes Kanter is calling out Nike for what he sees as a “silent” response to the mistreatment on minorities in China. In a video posted to Twitter on Monday, the Boston Celtics center said Nike was not doing enough to protest injustice in China. He specifically noted the oppression of minorities and forced labor among the Uyghur population in the Xinjiang region, which has been associated with manufacturing products for various companies in the U.S.

Why would nike help protest when they're the ones profiting off the slave labor? Hell they wrote that statement for Lebron...or passed it to him from the government more likely.
the nba claims to be so humanitarion so often I'm sick of it. Let THEM take a stand.

and the C's are kowtowing to the League and keeping Kanter on the bench?
Is Nike paying his salary while he sits?

You can't teach that.
All a coach can do is to try to channel it constructively.
Look at Ime's hand on Smart's shoulder, something completely out of character for bookish CBS.
The two are connecting on a number of levels, like father tutoring son.
Smart will likely be open to and respond positively to Ime's bonding and the confidence newbie shows in him.
We all want to make our fathers proud.
That's human nature.

I just hope coach pulls the trigger and makes it happen. But he’s got to make sure whoever is in his place is a solid consistent contributor. But you have correctly recognized the nonverbals in the Udoka/Smart relationship from this single picture. Well done.
