Did you see Markieff Morris got in a pushing match with jokic and now The Morris brothers are in a Twitter war with jokic and his brothers
Markieff is pretty good-natured but I wouldn't mess with Marcus

would Simmons even want to play in Boston? Per the Boston Globe’s Gary Washburn, “Yes, according to a league source.” A better question is why would be want him to play here?...

After what Boston did to the C's in the Clipper game, maybe this post s/b added to great calls.
> These next three picks are high ceiling guys that could still be there for the Celtics ... [see my 4,5 & 6 options] 4) Boston is a light-framed wing who had a poor freshman season at Kentucky but his ceiling is way up there based on size and creativity, making this a pick that could turn into an all-star. He's everything that Langford was supposed to be. celticshomecourt.freeforums.net/post/136694/thread
> We s/b getting one of these top 10 left: See List
> I want Boston!
Petrusev PF next
then Johnson
then Reeves
finally Bassey
> Just looked Boston up, not bad at all! Seemed like a 2022 lottery pick to me!!
celticshomecourt.freeforums.net/post/136710/thread
> Boston has All-Star ceiling if he pans out as originally expected by scouts ... Did Crooklyn work a trade and get Sharpe?
The Pick is In:
In response to the Begarin pick came this:
> Well. Still a bit in shock. As usual, a guy out of left field. That Boston seems decent and has played college ball. We will see.
> a shooting guard who cant shoot. Nice pick Austin, I mean Brad.
> Yea kinda dissapointing again. Always trying to find strange talent when there were a few sure bets on board. Dknt get it.
> All sorts of trades between multiple teams but nothing from the C's after Austin caid they could try to move up or buy an additional pick.
I'm beginning to think that other GM's just don't want to deal with us after how Ainge fucked all of them around so much.
Everyone is cutting deals for future picks or 2nd rounders but we apparently can't get anyone to pick up the phone or stop hanging up!
> Per CelticsLife.com: Fans seemed to want Cooper or Boston, but Brad Stevens went with the French draft-and-stash for his first draft selection ever.
It's funny but Cabby said something similar to me during the draft last night - why can't these GM's pick the obvious rather than looking for some obscure guy that nobody knows anything about?
It will be fun to see who's right, the fans or Brad who seemed to follow Danny's lead taking another young euro-league type that is obvious to be a draft & stash candidate for 1-2 years.
For the fans sake, let's hope Boston turns out to be another James Young and the 2021 draft will be forgotten.
Well, now we have a better idea and Boston's been climbing the Clipper ladder getting more minutes and proving to be more than a flash in the pan so far. Looks like the fans were right and Brad passed on having a pair of snipers (Nesmith & Boston Jr) on this team that's so desperate for spacing. I wonder if Brad is still here if/when Begarin gets called up to the States ...
He scored 27pts on this night and dedicated his game to his friend & former Kentucky teammate, the fallen Boston baller Terrence Clarke.
How embarrassing ... we could have had him at #45 but passed and he was taken at #51! I can remember yelling at the TV when the C's passed. Our passes seem like obvious potential winners and our picks always have me scratching my head. Begarin may come through some day but this guy's ceiling had potential all-star written all over it ... how could we pass on this guy?
Boston Jr. made his presence felt early and often against the Celtics when he got a chance despite Udoka’s warnings, throwing down an explosive dunk early in the second quarter that led to a technical foul for taunting Marcus Smart.
“I just started going at him, just tell him I’m here, just letting him know that my presence is felt,” Boston said, “and that I’m not laying back for nobody.”
Boston Jr.’s spark with the Clippers’ second unit ended up being the difference in the game as the Celtics were forced to play catchup for the final 30-plus minutes before running out of time in the 114-111 loss. The Clippers’ reserves handily outscored Boston’s bench (57-32) behind the career night from the rookie.
“Brandon powered us to this win,” Clippers coach Ty Lue said.
Meanwhile, the Celtics, who passed on a chance to draft Boston Jr. at No. 45 in the 2021 NBA Draft, dropped to 1-3 on their road trip with the toughest opponent on the road trip looming in Phoenix on Friday night.
You be the judge ...
