C's miss a 3 but Smart fouled trying for a put-back.
He makes 2-1 ... 111-108 ... 5.4 secs
Miss failed to catch rim so that should do it ... C's foul Brunson again ... why bother now?

56 ticks left and then Brad will tell us how good Luka is and that we had good open shots that didn't fall but he's proud of the way out guys played in the 4th qtr ... put it all on the line playing hard with effort.
Too little, too late Brad ... that's what my grandfather would tell ya! that we had the game close and we couldnt execute at the end. But keeping it close against a great team is all you can ask for. Yea. Heard it before. But he still collects his millions...no worries...

I don't care for the comeback. I understand not having all 3(2) of your starting 5s. But I can't excuse missing these open 3s. What is with that? We just stayed with the 3-pointer despite all the misses. Then we started missing layups in the 4th.

It's the players fault for missing the shots ... Brad didn't miss anything!
Hedley will confirm ...

I am not going to say nice comeback down by 23 and only losing by 5 .Yup, announcer said it was a spirited comeback. It was frustratingly exciting perhaps but the outcome no mystery.

I am just so sick and tired of this season. No consistency in play and also no consistency in the lineup.
Today RWill is the last minute scratch. TT has been gone a while with no sign of return. Kemba misses almost every other game. The new guys look like rabbit in the headlight. And then the missing effort! Dang, the missing effort.

When you are 9-40 at one point in the game from the 3-point line, you have passed the point of "let's try driving it to the rim". The coach needs to emphasize attacking the rim and we just didn't. And, BTW, why does PP get so few minutes? Only 16 minutes. I don't get it.

You MUST know the rule that the ball must hit the rim. He wasn't even trying to hit the rim. He didn't MISS THE RIM.

Well, Tatum and Brown got their average! Neither one of them did a friggin' thing to make the team better!

In the history, of the NBA! Smart is one of the few players who gives his all...he is our dirt dog...too bad for you...l Used to. Need to see the effort consistently after the injury.
If we now have a cautious Marcus Smart then we are in a heap of trouble. Because a cautious Marcus Smart will be a very limited player.
