If Tatum is out tonight? We can assume he's being traded? Yup, whoever is out is getting traded.

Waker is playing i'm sure. Tatum is playing! I know. He's in for the long haul. I'm not advocating trading him. He's your last hope. At your age? That could be fatal.

I'm starting to believe, that just like every year, the trade deadline will come and go, and Ainge will come oh so close to making a deal, but in the end, he'll just like our guys too much to pull the trigger!

One time in the first grade I played a cake walk. I won, and the lady tried to say I stepped forward. I didn't. They just wanted to give each-other their fancy cakes. That's what I told them too Those over perfumed old ladies ran the church.. Tried to tell the preacher what sermon to do every week. They were evil why most of the elder men had blood shot eyes on a Sunday morning. This was a school event in San Angelo Texas, but it was the same ladies

TT for 9.5 mil coming off the bench is fine with me. Unless we replace him with a better option.. Walker like IT will never come off the bench for us. I would like a Ball or simular like PG? I'm no fool Walker is likely to be here the rest of this year and the next. I'll agree with Solly.. Two more years at least We have different reasons of course. We really need to get off Walker's back. Everyone's issue with Walker is his contract. Walker was paid like a 4x All Star veteran of 8 years who has averaged 20 ppg in his career (just like Hayward the year or two before). I agree DA overpaid to cover the loss of Kyrie but that's not Kemba's fault. Let's look realistically at this. Kemba came here AS A SCORER, not as a facilitator. Kemba came here as a major scoring option, NOT AS A distributor. Kemba has NEVER been a Rondo-type or Ball-type of PG. Everybody knew that when we signed him. The Celtics, before Kemba, had point PF Horford to help distribute, and last season, Kemba's first, we had Hayward who was a great distributor. We never felt Kemba would come here and, all of a sudden, become a floor leader distributor. Besides, RIGHT NOW, JT and JB get great open looks as it is. The problem is that they DON'T TAKE THE OPEN SHOTS. They always have to watch the defender fly by and then dribble OR STEP OUT OF BOUNDS TRYING TO DO SOMETHING instead of simply taking the open shot. I can see it now.....Lonzo passes to Tatum in the corner for a wide open shot but Tatum hesitates, lets the defender closing out fly by him, only to step out of bounds trying to do something other than take the open shot that's available. That's the same thing Brown does. I honestly have NEVER seen so many times when guys step out of bounds when declining an open shot to get space. These guys get great looks as it is. Bringing in a distributor isn't going to improve the open looks they or anyone else gets. Our guys are just inconsistent shooters/scorers and that's not Kemba's fault. When Kemba isn't on the floor, scoring by JT and JB get that much harder. And defensively, we haven't had a consistent starting PG who was a capable defensive force since Rondo (outside of Rozier's 19 game playoff run). Outside of Smart, no player takes more charges (resulting in turnovers) than Kemba does (and I don't have the stats - I'm using the eye test). However, if we are able to improve the team by trading Kemba, I'm all for it but be careful what you wish for. Sept/20'
Despite his 6-foot stature, the diminutive point guard has lightning-quick hands and has shown a willingness to take a charge — Walker was seventh (18) in the regular season in charges drawn, while he is fourth (4) so far this postseason — or dive onto the floor for the loose ball.
Lowry beat Kemba in hustle stats where Lowry leads the league with 30 charges drawn to Kemba’s 18 as well as Lowry’s 153 deflections to Kemba’s 89
Kemba was 10th in the NBA in charges drawn (0.29) per game.

True he does step up. If he would just step out and block someone out instead of just staring at the rim on the weak side, I would feel a lot better about him. But we literally give away like six points a game this way

We got 6'7" guys who do the same so it's not all on Kemba.
He can block out but so can a whole lot of others.

He's often hidden on the weak side and part of the play is to crash over him with your athletic big. He needs to go get that guy earlier and further out instead of just standing behind the 4 looking over his shoulder at the rim But yeah, we've got plenty of guys that don't block out. I even used to cuss KD out cuz he went right to the rim and never blocked out.

Lightening quick hands and only one steal per game? Must be playin pocket pool half the time. I don't make up the numbers. This is on a scale of 100. 61 Defending total 32 Interior Defense 75 Perimeter Defense 53 Steal 45 Block 76 Lateral Quickness 72 Help Defense IQ 77 Pass Perception 60 Defensive Consistency. Where i come from 61 is a failing grade.. www.2kratings.com/kemba-walker

I'm just reporting 20' charges made ... nothing more ... you know how I feel about "short people" on BBall teams, especially ours.

Is it for this season? Kemba was out for a large part in both seasons and also misses b2bs.

We've had one disagreement in 5 years.. Here is my only prediction so far. He was a fit here the Nets are also in the running he's a Brooklyn native.. The Nets don't need shooters. 76ers do Redick expected to be bought out; 76ers a potential landing spot
