Kyrie didn't want to be in Boston fom day one. The whole world knew this. . Why Ainge didn't know this is beyond me. Cost us a ist rounder.. Got nothing in return.. To me that was when things began to go off course. Well yeah the lack of drafting bigs was already starting to take it's toll also. We hung our hat on RWIll only. I was happy at the time.. He's got talent but no one can say he's been an answer because of his injuries..

Che, let me ask a few questions.........of those 16 games, how many of those games was Marcus Smart also out? Of those 16 games, how many was Jayson Tatum out? And finally, of those 16 games, how many was Jaylen Brown out? I just don't believe it's as black and white as Walker has played in 16 games and the Celtics are 6 and 10 in those games so , deductively, Walker is a problem. Would you not agree that there are so many other factors that impact that record than just Kemba playing? We have faced few teams who didn't have a key player out like Dallas last night. The virus and injuries have compounded this.. No excuse. Walker isn't the only problem.. Just the biggest one.. Are you under the premise that paying him over 33 mil for the next two doesn't hinder us from making trades? Ainge has already got shunned by GMs for peddling damage goods.. Some want to blame Teague who plays little and makes almost nothing. I blame the ones who are making the big money. So if ya hire a foreman pay him well to run your crew and they screw a job up.. You beat up one a poor laborer who makes mininum wage? . So, I guess you're admitting that our 6 and 10 record when Kemba plays has very little to do with the fact that Kemba is playing? At least we agree on that. Walker's performance has been far below par but so have a lot of players. I disagree that paying Walker $33M for the next two seasons hinders us from making trades. We simply have to use him as part of a trade package, one in which we may have to lose another good player and draft picks. But it's wrong to think that because we signed Kemba, we're constrained from making trades. And Kemba making $33M is what the market (DA) bore for him. You're worth whatever the market bears. But honestly, with JT and JB on this team, there is no way Kemba will be worth anything near $33M per year. He's the 3rd option. If, because he makes $33M, you expect him to make every shot and have 8 assists per game and play rock-solid defense, that isn't happening. For $33M per season, he should be the number 1 option and he's not. I don't see why we would pay a 3rd option that much money. What this team needs is a FIRST OPTION. We could have offered Kemba money commensurate for a 3rd option. Then we probably would not have him on the team which seems to sit pretty well with many here.

Kemba Walker promises a new style of leadership in a letter to Boston.
“I’m ready.”
In a recent letter written for the Players Tribune, the newly-signed Celtics guard thanked his former Charlotte Hornets teammates as well as the team’s fans, and detailed how he plans to help the Celtics moving forward. This past season was especially difficult for Boston: personalities clashed, basketballs were not signed, and coach Brad Stevens admitted that the “pieces just didn’t fit.” With the recent departures of Kyrie Irving (Brooklyn), Al Horford (Philly), and Terry Rozier (Charlotte), the future of the team seemed uncertain. “I’m a winner. I’ve always been a winner,” he wrote. “It’s who I am — or at least who I strive to be — anytime I step foot on the court. And when I think about my future with this team, and how I’m now going to be playing for the Celtics….. I mean, that’s why I feel like it’s a match made in heaven. I want to win here, badly — and I’m excited to prove myself as that type of player in this league. I want to elevate myself into that Boston winning tradition. I want to get this team back on top.”
If they need a leader, someone who will encourage and motivate others, then he’s ready for the role:
Two questions..
When did he win anything?
What clubhose was he leading?
Refresh ya guys memory, Walker was brought here to be our leader..
Now all of a sudden we need one.. Two are at fault.
Walker at promising on something he can't deliver.. Ainge on signing a fraud/
I don't make predictions except tonight. We'll win with Walker out. I'm usually wrong good opportunity to pick up some easy bucks I'll bet Vegas line or yours..

In those 16 games, you didn't mention that Smart has been out as have Tatum and Brown so having a 6 and 10 record when Kemba plays.........I don't see the relevance of that stat and, to me, you didn't clearly describe its relevance. You can't believe everything in the media you read. DA cannot be that stupid to think he can peddle Kemba when Kemba is out due to a knee injury. DA's reputation isn't the best so it's hard for me to believe that DA tried to trade an injured Kemba when Kemba was unable to even get on the court. DA would be committing career suicide to try something like that, in my opinion. Just like the report that DA didn't want Myles Turner because he couldn't then turn around and trade him. Honestly, I don't believe that leak either. Turner is better than any big man on our roster but if DA didn't like him, it's hard to believe that one.

I don't believe all i read or all i hear.. Half truths are my guess. I can use that for ammo its fair game. Just like you say Walker was brought here just to shoot not be a leader. I just debunked that myth on a previous post. There was one one small PG whom i can recall i liked Tiny Archibald. He led the league in scoring and assists. My angle .. Picked this up from the top. In this great country Amerika.. If you repeat something over and over eventually most folks will believe it.. Has little to do with being 100% correct... Less than 10% here agread with me on Walker when the season started. My guess now 50/50.. I might well be wrong but i'm making people think that maybe they have been mislead. In the large scheme of things.. Neither one of us can probably claim a win at this point that's close to the truth . Lots of variables and it's not an exact science. I''ll keep pushing my agenda none the less..

Stevens didn't win a championship in college, he was runner-up twice!! I thought maybe he won d2 in depauw or something I didn't know. Never heard of Stevens before he became coach. Only follow collage b ball just to look at a specific player. KY is right. Brings up an interesting point.. What or who does transfer from collage,. Hopefully are head drafter takes ths into account. Edwards didn't Few 6'0'' pgs ever start.. Less become stars.. Walker has over achieved i suppose.. Less and less every year..

Brown doesn't think he has to block out on the outside he's going to stand there and watch John Collins go right around him for a dunk. You're better than that Jalen

Not kemba, thats for sure. You defend Danny and Brad. meanwhile we have seen players come and go under brad and you still say its on the players. I bet you a different coach would be flying high with JT and JB alone. But lets say is on the players. Mavs play bodgon whatever his name is and killed us in points and rebounds and we also have a seven footer that could stop the bleeding at least and you probably will say he is not ready. Well mavs seven footer is no different than tacko. I am not here to open your eyes. You have your opinion but almost everyone out there is already blaming brad. I'm defending BRAD.......ONLY!! The blame goes on the other guy. It IS on the players. I'll bet you we would NOT be flying high with any different coach. So, we don't have a 7 footer to guard Boban?? HOW IS THAT ON BRAD? And he's MUCH better than Tacko. Please do not bother "opening" my eyes. I have said from the DAY that Benedict Arnold left that we would be mediocre this year.........look it up. NO coach could win with this team...........thank you! how can you Say Taco is not better than Boban? You have never really seen Taco play. Harken back to Duke / UCF final 4 when Zion was destroying everyone in his path. Taco boldly stated prior to the game that Zion would NOT dunk on his team while Taco was in the game! Guess what? He didn't! Taco went toe to toe with Zion, but now Brad cant get him off the bench to go up and down the court with as lumbering Boban for a couple minutes!
