Kemba fouls Anunoby and he makes both ... C's down 7 with 27 ticks left. I can't believe the OF called on Tatum with 32 secs in the game.
and Van Gundy says JT's been getting away with it all night ... right. But Lowry's been an angel ... give me a break!

Now we find out who the real leader is. Who does the Larry Bird 1984 imitation and says "We played like sissies, I can't believe a team like this would let LA (Tor) come out and push us around like they did." Who is the leader?! You are the leader...show us the way...yeah...

We didn't have one player who played a good game tonight!

Had the feeling that lucky win Thurs would give Raps a new life and it did. Our poor shooting and turn overs contributed but they have been given a shot of confidence now ... series may go 7 games now.

Nearly half our shots were threes and we made them at only a 20% clip. Brad stuck with what wasn't working and failed to adjust again ...

But what concerns me is that loss seems to have affected the Celtic players mentally. It's like the Celtic players are not as confident and they're hesitant.

Bottom line is we suck without Hayward...flat out, like a lizard drinking...and even with him we dont beat the Clippers...but we are good and on the rise...sucks Hayward cant keep healthy...

You know, we are just not mentally tough enough yet.
Tatum and Brown are just too weak mentally although they have exceptional skills.
Smart is the mentally tough one but he has no skills, at least offensively.
And Kemba is just happy to be playing in the 2nd round.
We REALLY miss Hayward badly.

And our entire bench should not even be in the NBA...

yes and I thought that Theis's play was a difference maker. Like he stopped his aggression for fear of picking up cheap fouls.

I disagree that Hayward is the reason why the Celtics ended up like this.
Celts were fine without Hayward until 00.5 left in regulation of Game 3.
Easy for us fans here to criticize Tatum and Brown when they're the one who experienced a devastating loss.
It was a won ballgame until the Celtic coach made a blunder in the end.

They did last year against the Bucks, of course, they had Leonard.

I don't think this series is going 7 games.
It's either the Celts find a way to overcome, mentally, that devastating Game 3 loss and win the series 4-2 or Toronto takes the series 4-2.

The game 3 loss was not devastating...it was pathetic...should never had let it be that close...gotta win by enough to not let the refs get involved...

They did last year against the Bucks, of course, they had Leonard. Here: www.nbcsports.com/boston/celtics/celtics-cant-let-history-repeat-itself-vs-raptorsYou need only rewind to the 2019 Eastern Conference finals. Toronto dropped the first two games to the lower-seeded Bucks before producing a momentum-shifting, double-overtime victory in Game 3. What happened next? Three more Toronto wins followed to end the series and send the Raptors into the NBA Finals with the momentum that would help deliver the Larry O’Brien trophy.
That’s how quickly things can change. Heck, if Anunoby misses that final shot on Thursday night — and we’re still wondering how many times out of 100 that quarterback Kyle Lowry could put that pass in the absolute perfect spot with Boston’s defense uncharacteristically a split-second late to react — the Raptors are down 3-0 and, after an extended bubble stay, are ripe for a sweep on Saturday.

Only reason that game was close was because of Tatum having an off night. To Celtic fans it was pathetic, I agree with you on that. But to the Celtic players, it was devastating. We just don't know how it will affect them mentally. And we got our answer in this game. This is not the same Celtics team we saw against Philly and in the first 3 games of this Toronto series.

See Fierce, you are thinking too small. We are IN A SERIES, a 7 game series. We're not talking about the first 2 games. Over the course of a 7 game series, we need GH against this Raptors team.
And BTW, NOBODY is saying NOT having Hayward is the reason why the series is 2 - 2. NOBODY HAS SAID THAT - making false accusations again, huh.
Like I said before the series, this is going to be a dogfight of a series. We are going to have HUGE problems with Toronto, contrary to your predictions.
GH, as a stabilizing veteran, is exactly what this team needs right now because we don't have that smooth operator on the court settling everyone down. Our young stars are pressing too much and it's showing in their performance.

JT 9-12 from two ... too bad Brad couldn't follow his lead and exploit the inside and give up on the perimeter for the majority of shots.
