Fine! The problem is Kyrie, period! Now, my question to you is what happened to your theory of the PG should be the facilitator and should not be paid lots of money? We're done with Kyrie, he's not a Celtic anymore. But last season you said what the Celts need was a PG that could run the offense and not be the offense. This season the Celts are better even with a shoot first PG like Kemba. It's true Kyrie was ball-dominant, he wanted to control the offense. But the shooting numbers don't lie. Kyrie was attempting 18.5 shot attempts per game last season. This season, Kemba's attempting 18 shots per game. The difference is the Celts are winning this season. still stand by it and its out of my control. I rather pay a forward big bucks than a PG. However that does not mean i am unhappy with kemba since we are winning. Still max money to a PG to me does not make senseThat's the NBA of today. Since we all here agree that we're happy with Kemba and the Celts winning, what this proves is you can win in the NBA with a shoot first PG. Gone are the days that the PG should run the offense and be a facilitator. I mean Kemba's attempting 9.9 3-pointers per game. That's only second to Harden's 14 3-point attempts per game, but 10 3-point attempts per game is a lot!

Irving shot 40% from on threes during the regular season last year.
Irving Shot 31% during the playoffs. IT had a 30% post season average from the three point line..
IT proved that also. Teams get you figured out by playoff time. Relying on midgets shooting threes has been a proven disaster.
History proves your theory wrong... Show me the Ring...

Wow, if I was pushed like that I might have just dropped Kyrie on the spot... Like I what I keep saying, last season's problem was not because of ball movement or whatever basketball related. The problem was Kyrie. His teammates simply don't like him. It was more personal than basketball related. This season, Kemba's shooting a lot, just like Kyrie. But teammates and fans are not complaining. And reason for that is Kemba's a very likable guy.
fiercy confuses likeability... with respect.
Effective leaders never rely on being liked.... Bill Russell being an example... but Russ could lead because he was respected.
Russ respected himself, his teammates and the game... and in turn, gained respect that leaders must have.
So far, diva Kyrie has gained ZERO respect.... and it shows!
After toiling in Charlotte for years, showing up every night with little help and nothing to show for it, Kemba has gained respect, it shows, and he is leading this team along with another respected teammate, Marcus Smart to success.
These two lead by example.... something that KI and fiercy will never, ever understand.

Your right however. Trump has proved that a president takes his orders from Moscow. First time in History.

Avery Johnson is only 5-10, but he won a ring with the Spurs. You were wearing diapers back then and most all Pg's were 6'2'' and under. I've got a couple hours of work . I figure maybe now you in the Dominican or Haiti No tourists? Quit killing them i might visit... Your time frame for posting doesn't fit Manila.

Its hard to dislike this team even if they were losing because they have an amazing chemistry and passion to win. Thats very unlikely. Egos aside. Its all pretty for now.

Avery Johnson was the only midget to have success in the 1990s. Your memory must be deteriorating. Back then midgets had no shot of excelling in the NBA because it was pure man to man defense. Every time there was a midget on the court, the coach would tell his team to give the ball to whoever the midget is guarding. Reason why there are more midgets in today's NBA is because the NBA defenses are more complicated. Teams can protect midgets by using defensive schemes that will negate size advantage.

I'm not sure I accept the premise that there are more smaller players now than there were when I was a kid. I think it's the same.
Earl Boykins was a successful player from the 90's right? He didn't win a title...but that's not the measure of a good pg anyway. Mugsy was 80s and 90's right? Spud was 80's.
