If Kyrie, Al, and Hayward do their thing. One of Tatum or Brown emerges every night (dont need both just one or the other). And Morris and Rozier continue playing within their roles. This team will be a very tough out for anyone.

I remember last year's playoff run how it seemed like Tatum and Brown would alternate having monster games. If we can get that going again, look out.

I'm sticking with Brown over Tatum long haul regardless of the AD situation. I told you before, Brown's problems earlier this season were the result of an injury. He's been the better of the two for months now and showed it again today ... BTW, where was Tatum? Last I heard he had 4pts and was he on the bench during crunch time rather than Brown ... Oh, Brown was benched in favor of the bench after helping run the lead up to 20!
Tatum may be your Paul Pierce but Brown's my MJ/Lenny Bias ...
You can't be serious. Tatum averaged 19.3 ppg in the 1st round of the playoffs. Brown only averaged 11.0 ppg in the 1st round. There's no doubt that both Brown and Tatum are very good players. But definitely Tatum is better. You really think Brown would've gotten that many minutes if Smart was healthy? Celts have too many wings. Early in the season both Brown and Hayward were struggling because both of them needed minutes and shots. Celts will have the same problem once Smart returns from injury. Again, if the Pels pick Tatum then it's fine. Ending up keeping Brown is not a bad thing. But the 1st round of the playoffs this year clearly showed Tatum is better than Brown. we don't need Smart!! He needs to make sure he's all well before he takes the court, next season works for me!!

JBrown has clearly been the better player for at least the entire 2nd half of the season. To me the big difference is Defense. To often I am watching the game and seeing Tatum being LAZY on defense, or not hustling on defensive switches. Give JBrown Tatums minutes and touches and I think JBrown becomes a James Worthy type player (with a better jump shot). Having said all that I love Tatum and think he needs a Veteran to get in his ass about hustling on D and resting on O. JT has it backwards right now.

I don't know what Giannis was crying about. There wasn't any foul there. Love that new avatar!
Is this the play you are referring to?

It seems that some nights Tatum is on and Brown is off, and some nights its the opposite. Its kind of rare that both get going in the same game (at least according to my observations). I say play em both in the first, figure out which one is "in the zone", then ride the hot hand.

One reason the Celts are doing better in the post-season than they did in the regular season is because since the playoffs, if someone is locked-in they'll keep feeding that person. As opposed to the regular season where many players were competing with their teammates for minutes - so if a teammate was hot, instead of feeding him, some teammates would try to out-do the hot player. Rozier admitted this. He said when the playoffs start, you stop worrying about your points, and you only care about the W (or something to that effect). Not surprisingly, since Rozier adopted this team-first attitude, he's been a real asset.
