I just hope we can pay Morris enough to keep him. I like his game and his toughness.

I agree that Durant is mentally weak. That being said, he's the best player in the NBA. Most of the stars nowadays are mentally weak. Is amazing how different stars are now compared to back the old days. Toughness is gone for the most part. Reason why I like Gianis, he has that old school mentality. Tough. Thats kind of why I dont get all the Kyrie bashing. Yes, Kyrie is the center of his universe. Durant is the center of his. Davis is the center of his. LeBron is the center of his. All superstars are difficult. So when people bash Kyrie for being noncommital, Im kind of like: "do we just want 0 stars? Because all players of that caliber will jerk you around now-a-days" The days of guys like Tim Duncan are gone. Regarding Giannis: I love the guy too. But I wouldnt be surprised, at all, if in 2 years he's trying to jet to a big market to create a superteam leaving a heartbroken fanbase in his wake. Its what the game has become.

People turn into dicks when they become superstars. Brock Lesnar was a super nice guy his rookie year in WWE, then Vince gave him a monster push, and he became an absolute monster backstage. If there is a humble young rookie who is about to blast off into super-stardom, and everyone is falling over themselves about how humble the kid is, Im usually like "just wait." Of course, exceptions exist (Mookie being one of them).

Order restored. All higher seeds won today. In fact, all higher seeds have won the 2nd game so far, except the Warriors. Looking for the Celts to play a dominant game tomorrow.

Game 4 DET trying to avoid the sweep by MIL ... refs letting Giannis get away with a murder yet again ... just look at the FT variance!

10 blocked shots 4 by the Greek 5 by Lopez. Lopez plays no D. Who said That?
Looks like they get some rest to.
Odds changed again 6 to 1 Bucks.

watching the Clippers beat GS is quite a joy. There is a reason why I am not an advocate of KD to Boston.

There is a reason why I am not an advocate of KD to Boston. wow, am I again in agreement with Prakash?...hard to root for GS with KD aboard, joining the team that beat him in the playoffs...and therefore also hard to root for KD, the best player in the game, because I feel he is not mentally tough, cant carry folks on his back/over the hill...that is a lot to read into a short post by you, Prakash, but that is where I stand...

Ideal...raps waste energy in a failed comeback.
Even better if they went to OT, but I'm afraid the raps would win.

Quite a win by the Dubs. Shows that inspired basketball can get you a long way.
After watching this, I am OK if the Celts sign and trade Kyrie to get a massive exception that they can use in trade. For teams above the cap, the biggest problem is adding to the team. This will open up a lot of options for the Celts.

I believe KT is the essential there.

I understand that you don't like Kyrie. His issue has more to do with his personality and playing style than the position he plays. So don't generalize it to point guards.
Both Curry and Klay are stars and fantastic people at the same time. Players around them look very happy. KD is the prickly one. Precipitated the famous rant from Draymond Green when he told KD that they have won without him.
I have wished multiple times, without the Celtics hat on, that KD had not come here. Warriors should have rolled on with Harrison Barnes. That would have kept Curry and Klay as the offensive focus and the Warriors would have continued to play beautiful basketball where the ball and players move in perpetual motion. KD and Kyrie are not that kind of players.
