BB would have traded this clown for talking like he did about the coach and the youth...get rid of him...we don't get anything for him when he walks at the end of the year right? so why keep him around...I don't get it... its called denial

Let the other guys figure something out on their own so when playoffs come, Brad at least has some combinations to play with. But its all denial. They want to believe that Kyrie makes this team better. Technically it should but kI attitude issues dont allow it to happen.

Well ya can love Irving or hate him but... I care less.
His relationship with Stevens is not good that is perfectly clear. Parakash can't face reality and his rose colored glasses have faded in to bull shit brown. Three times i asked him what have you been right about . Not one answer. Take a 45 for your family and to benifit humanity.
Its not likely he resigns if you can't see that your blind.
Move on rebuild Ainge fucked us and Stevens needs to go on back to Butler .

you're trying to catch lightning in a bottle like 2008, and I would rather extend the window. I think that brown and tatum have proven good if not great and there are more pics to come. if we didn't have kyrie we'd also have the #6 from last year. both are arguable positions No, we did not catch lightening in a bottle in 2008. We had a 3 years window. We won the championship one year. The other two got derailed because of injuries. The window was that small only because the stars were mush older.
The frat house here sucks if you take away Horford and he is getting there in years now. There is a window in front of us. Miss it and no one knows when the next window will show up.
If you are advocating that we should NOT have traded for Kyrie, then I am not interested in that debate. One could then argue that that should have been preceded with not signing Hayward. But Hayward got injured and here we are now.
I totally disagree that letting Kyrie walk is in the best interest of the team. I also totally disagree that after letting Kyrie walk, we will still have contending material. I see that we have an opportunity to contend and that we should do what is needed. I also believe that Kyrie is a fabulous player and a championship material player.

Been wrong many times before. I have no clue what a frat house means but this group minus kyrie took us pretty damn far and in a better fashion. We lost to the best in the league last year. Brown, Tatum, rozier and all the whole frat boys have behaved way better than the class president Kyrie. That to me speaks volumes. Brown has been our most consistent player in the second half of the season. Smart will give his all and Rozier accepts his mistakes like a pro and is proven to be good with adecuate minutes. Shit, i cant say the same thing about the president of the class and that is messed up. I rather keep the frats. They are hungry and they love to play together. They would do anything for the other. They would go to battle with anyone and they would have been better than last year. They have proven also to do it better than with the president. Bye bye kyrie To borrow from Cole, last year, we caught lightening in a bottle.
Frat boys are Tatum, Brown, Rozier, Ojeleye, Yabusale and RW3. Without proper veteran support around them, they appear clueless. I don't believe that this year is an exception. Last year was.

One has to wonder if Kyrie is any more coachable than our last 1 dimensional superstar Rondo turned out to be.
It was very late in Rondo's tempestuous tenure in Beantown that Wyc finally blurted out what had been very obvious to many.... that Rondo was uncoachable... and he was gone to Dallas for peanuts soon thereafter.
Both were/are fun to watch play basketball, fabulous players in a lot of ways.... but you simply can't build around them.
Rondo needed the Big Three to win and KI needed LBJ to do likewise.
Hard to believe that DA ever considered (or is considering) paying max $$$ for either, considering the baggage that each of these players brings to the table.
But DA stuck with both players way too long before being forced to move on w/o them.
Drafting R9R was I suspect in Danny's eyes his real genius on display.
Likewise picking up a malcontent in KI for peanuts was again a source of real pride for DA.
Yet according to Proverbs, pride comes before the fall.... every doggone time.

Cool Pud good point.
I'll take back my idiots comment not that is was directed at you but the vast majority here is starting to see the light.
Were in for what might be a long wait for a banner.
Clean house pay Stevens off and move on. Ainge has two more years max and he can pack em up too.
This is not all on Irving te problem starts at the top.
What ever drug Parkash is on stay away from folks.

OK, so help me understand what you are noticing about Kyrie?
We could see that Rondo was brilliant and so is Kyrie.
But we could also see that Rondo had some serious issues with some aspects of basketball like shooting. Rondo loved to get his personal stats. Rondo got into fights with other players (Chris Paul) and with refs and with the league office.
On the other hand, I have seen Kyrie change dramatically from who he was in Cleveland. I see him hustling at the defensive end. I see him hustling for rebounds. I see him setting up players with assists. And I see him generally liked by other players. When the veterans are together, I have seen them play beautiful basketball to start the game. And then, many times, the bench completely screws up the game.
Yes, I will not defend him shooting his mouth and not knowing what leadership is all about. But don't forget that Paul Pierce had a lot of questions raised about him until the Big-3 were assembled. Now he is a dearly loved player even by you.
The elephant in the room is: What worked last year and is not working this year?
Different people have different opinions on this matter.

Does anyone here remember Pierce running his mouth like Irving?
Not so fond of assholes making up lies to prove a weak point.
Don't cotton much to Liars or theives.

Like with Rondo, the team plays better w/o Kyrie.
I wish I were a fly on the wall in the locker room so I could try to put my finger on why.
It must have something to do with poor chemistry between Kyrie who cannot lead the team on a consistent basis and our very young coach who also fails to inspire/direct/coach Kyrie.... but then again, who can??
This is certainly an impossible situation for CBS, caught between KI and proud as punch DA.
Much like it was for doc caught between Rondo showing his azz and proud Danny.
Given the choice, Danny would throw CBS under the bus to hang onto KI.... and that is not a good dynamic.

These guys are just not good enough to be the corner stone of a contending team. So choosing youth at the present time will not be the right choice.
