Tatum and Brown don't even look like they're trying!! The question is why?? Celts don't have the right mix of players. A lot of the players on the roster are very identical when it comes to style of play. Looks like this Celtics team is built to win the Anthony Davis sweepstakes. Ainge could have done something at the trade deadline. But he didn't. That means Ainge is all in for AD after the season. oK Your right. Ainge assembled a poor team this year and is looking ahead to next year. Too bad that long term dynasty we were promised will last maybe just one year. We will trade 6 years of rebuilding chasing a player who won't stay but for a year. Sence Ainge stayed pat while the other teams beefed up i suppose we should just tank for a better pick so we can send it to NO . Nice vacation Fierce? Glad your here to explain WTH is going on. Were all clueless of course.

38-44 is well within our grasp beginning tonight if KI is designated team captain and allowed to run the show (right into the ground).

Were all clueless of course. I don't think that long term dynasty will happen if Kyrie leaves. If Kyrie leaves then there's no point in trading for Anthony Davis. Celts will be back to where they were in 2014. Ainge is a gambler. He could've traded Kyrie at the trade deadline if he didn't believe Kyrie would be staying. There's a scenario where Ainge will sign Kyrie for 1 year then trade for Anthony Davis. If Kyrie and AD don't like the 1 year they played together in Boston then they can leave after 1 year. That's the worst case scenario. Another scenario is Kyrie leaves. Ainge keeps all the assets and the Celts start another rebuild. Best case scenario is Kyrie signs long term and AD comes to Boston then signs long term with Boston after a season playing for the Celts.

dee One thing's for sure now, we will see Kyrie's playoff stats without Lebron. So you will be happy if Irving puts up 30 pts 8 assists in the playoffs and we lose in the second round? The most likely outcome i agree. Irving having a great playoffs just meens more interest in him in the offseason.

I think AD is going to the Clippers...why would he want to join the Laker train wreck?...
I do believe that Danny did nothing at the trade deadline in order to go after AD, but I also believe that the landscape has changed and there is a good chance that he lets Kyrie walk...keeps the core and continues the rebuild with picks and a free agent...

The most likely outcome i agree. Irving having a great playoffs just meens more interest in him in the offseason. I think it's possible the Celts will lose in the 2nd round no matter what Kyrie does. We both agree the Celts are lacking a big man that can rebound and score inside. Right now the problem is Ainge is playing to win the AD sweepstakes after the season. Ainge could've done something at the trade deadline. At the very least he could have traded Rozier. But Ainge is holding on to all the assets because he wants to go all in on AD after the season.

True. It's really possible now that Kyrie will leave because it's looking like he's not getting along with some of his teammates. But Ainge could've traded Kyrie at the trade deadline, like what chrisjey suggested, but Ainge didn't. That means Ainge is confident he can re-sign Kyrie.

When country was country Pud Seen Hank playing at the Neff Trailer Park jamboree i think in 66 or 67 in Harrrisonbug .
Once a year they had a big sale many folks from WVA came across the mountain to put up their 20 or 40 acre farm as a down payment on a new House Trailer. Over 50% were repoed and resold and the farm was forclosed on.
My Dad pointed this out to me the owner of the trailer sales. was his best friend in High School .

Sez fierce, "I just don't understand why some posters want to trade Kyrie. He's a superstar and you need superstars to win in the NBA." Pud

Fierce lets hear it from you since you went missing. Is Kyrie a leader and the leader the C's need? Just curious No, Kyrie is not the leader the Celts need. But Kyrie is one of the players the Celts need to win another championship. You really think Ainge traded for Kyrie because of his leadership skills? Back in 2005, Paul Pierce was in the same boat that Kyrie is on right now. Kyrie can't do it by himself. Celts need Anthony Davis. Paul Pierce would never have won a championship and a Finals MVP trophy if not for KG and Ray. Why do you think the Bucks, Sixers, and Raptors are all adding All-Star players? More star players means more chances of winning a championship. Again, if Ainge had no plans of bringing Kyrie back next season then he would have traded Kyrie at the trade deadline.

No but they are CRIMINALS. Would you take your son with you if you were planning on going out to commit a crime where, if caught, you could both end up in jail?
And if you look at facts not false narratives, its been going on for well over the last 10 years! The pics of kids in cages? Taken during the Obama administration.
I would tell you to stick to basketball, but based on your posts here you know less about basketball than you do current events.
Some of your facts are not facts, but, as you say, this is only for basketball.......... really? Elaborate on even ONE point I mentioned that is not a fact? And I didn’t bring politics into the forum Elvis did.

Stop moving the goal post, chris.
Early in the season it was "the ball doesn't move" when Kyrie is playing.
When that theory went out the window, it's Kyrie not the leader the Celts need?
Right now Kyrie is averaging a career high 6.9 assists per game.
Clearly Kyrie has improved his passing game.
But he's far from perfect and he's not a leader.
That still does not change the fact that the Celts need Kyrie for what he does best and that's scoring.
The playoffs is just a month away.
I think it's best if we wait and see what happens in the playoffs.
Right now this Celts team is a mess.
Some of us here kept saying, since October, that this team needs a big man.
But Ainge is all in on Anthony Davis.
That's why he didn't make a single move at the trade deadline.
The message from Ainge to fans is very clear, WAIT FOR NEXT YEAR!

The Quagmister evil tounge falls on deaf ears here. evidently quagmire has more of a history than I am aware of here...seen him on the Pats site and have not been particularly enamored... of course your not “enamoured” on the football or basketball sites, because you know very little about either sport. It’s very apparent in your posts.
