Every team is drooling when Theis checks in at the center position. Who is Theis? Theis is a PF not a center. You might want to bich to Ainge about that. He is playing out of position.

Looks like Fierce jinxed us again ... ugh! When our team is weak in the interior, no amount of luck can change the outcome.

Game won from the perimeter ... 54 vs 32%

I can only remember one time where Al Horford attacked Aldridge inside the paint.
If Horford can't attack inside and he can't stop bigs from scoring then life is too easy for opposing bigs.
Aldridge only had 1 foul the whole game. That means the Celts weren't making him work on defense.

Brad's been saying "they physically overpowered us" quite regularly ... starting to become an excuse.

Game won from the perimeter ... 54 vs 32% But most of that only happened in the 3rd qtr. when the Celts started helping inside the paint. The outside opened up once Celts started helping out inside the paint. That's something the Celts lack. Celts are very predictable because all they do is shoot from the outside. Aldridge only had 1 foul the whole game! That means he didn't have to work hard on defense because he was not being attacked.

Brad's been saying "they physically overpowered us" quite regularly ... starting to become an excuse. It's true. Horford is an undersized C and Morris is an undersized PF. That's why I keep saying get a big man who can help out inside and make Horford a PF again.

It's getting close to 41 games.
Ainge better make up his mind otherwise we're not going to see the Celts play in late May.
Sacrifice some of the depth for some inside help.

It's starting to look like you're wrong again ... Brown should stay and Hayward the odd man out!

good luck at 30 million per year, and a BS soulmate and that he will not be healthy until next year, and that Brown looks like a deer in the headlights player with no confidence very much most of the time...would love him to prove me wrong, but I aint seeing it yet...

I have a feeling Brown is back!
Doubtful anyone takes Gordon in a trade unless it's an Extend & Trade for a Davis type getting the max. C's would look bad though dumping him so quick after the injury & FA signing ... low % chance of it ever happening.

How can I be wrong when we all know Hayward's not going anywhere? I already said Brown can stay if he's content being a bench player. No one is going to take Hayward's 32m per year. That's why if someone other than Rozier gets traded, it's going to be Brown. If Ainge is going after Anthony Davis then Brown will surely be included in the trade.

Celts will be fine. If not this season then next season. It's just a case of the Celts not having the right mix.

You should stop defending Brown because we all know it's not his talent that's in question.
It's a case of Celts having too many medium size players and not enough bigs.
Brown scores 30 against the Spurs and 18 against the Rockets and Celts lose both times.
Obviously Brown is not the rim protector or inside presence the Celts need.
It's time you accept the fact that Jaylen Brown might not be part of the Celts' future.

The difference between Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum is Tatum is more than just a scorer.
Against Memphis, Tatum only had 7 points in 29 minutes. But Tatum led the Celts in rebounds with 8 and had 5 assists, 4 steals, and 1 block.
Right now Jaylen Brown is only good when he's scoring points.
Saying that Brown is good on defense is bull crap. Brown tends to foul a lot. Fouling is not good defense.
But there's no question Jaylen Brown is very talented.
If Jaylen Brown will be content playing the role of a bench player then the Celts will keep him in the short term.
It's not a secret that Ainge is coveting Anthony Davis. The opportunity to trade for AD will come July 1, 2019. There's no question Jaylen Brown will be one of the pieces Ainge will offer the Pelicans.
