We're gonna need a healthy Horford and Baynes for that to happen most likely ... definitely.

This Celtics team is still a work in progress. The new freedom of movement rule is really hurting smaller teams like the Celts and GSW. You just can't hold, grab, and push the bigs like last season. Right now the big man is relevant again.
and guards/wings getting to the line more than ever especially if they don't score and get that really late whistle.

We're gonna need a healthy Horford and Baynes for that to happen most likely ... I still think lesser depth for a quality big man is what will make this Celts team an elite team. Rozier should really be traded. I think Smart and Kyrie are enough at the PG spot. Jaylen Brown's talent will just go to waste if the Celts are too deep. Brown went 3-3 from the field in 19 minutes. But he was insignificant in the 2nd half and it's not his fault. Celts just have too many of the same kind.

Better be a Celtics win... or else you all are going to have to endure me streaking across the court at the next home game... Elvis in his birthday suit if we lose??
OMG!!!
Keep up the threats, elvis... and lets get the Cs streaking instead!!
Next up.... San Antonio.

That said, I'm not trading either except for Davis or Durant.
I agree that we don't need Rozier (not getting enough from him to worry about playoff contributions) and he s/b moved for another big but DA may be holding him for a S&T in a Davis trade.
Hard for us to speculate or expect something asap when we don't know what Danny knows ...

Hard for us to speculate or expect something asap when we don't know what Danny knows ... Celts still have plenty to offer even without Rozier. The Pels will want Tatum or Brown or both. What the Celts can't do is do what Cuban did after the Mavs won a championship in 2011. Cuban broke up the 2011 championship team because he believed Deron Williams and Dwight Howard were signing with the Mavs in 2012. Celts can't let this season go to waste because the Celts have a real shot at a championship this season.

But look at the stat sheet, Tatum still got significant minutes. Tatum didn't score a lot but he still led the team in rebounding. I'm not worried about Tatum. What worries me is Jaylen Brown getting less and less playing time.

Brown has a hand injury ... Brad's being careful, nothing more so you should stop reading into it. In fact here's a fact from tonight's game: Boston's closing lineup did some damage. The Celtics closed the game with Horford, Morris, Irving, Smart and Hayward -- a very switchable defensive group with tons of floor spacing and also Kyrie Irving. On paper, that group should be crushing (and also notably doesn't have Jaylen Brown or Jayson Tatum, which should lead to some extremely measured and reasonable takes). On Saturday, when Horford was making triples and Irving was up to his usual heroics, that lineup got the job done. Opponents (correctly) give Irving a ton of respect when he drives into the paint, and that opens up extremely makeable shots for everyone else. www.masslive.com/expo/sports/erry-2018/12/c9ef71cbbc5553/boston-celtics-rally-to-beat-m.html

In case you missed it ... no Tatum or Brown to close the game. Yes, but look at the minutes of both players. Tatum still got 29 minutes while Brown only had 19 minutes. If Brown had an injury, it was not showing against the Griz. Brown was playing well, so how come he can't get more playing time? Sooner or later Ainge is going to have to choose.

Thankfully they won...would have been expensive to fly back to Boston, buy a ticket, streak, pay lawyer and court fees....

With the Cs win and another outstanding clutch performance by our lone superstar KI...
I think its time once again for fierce to wonder aloud why it is that some psycho posters (we all know who they are, don't we!!) would ever want to trade KI.
fierce.... make us all proud, amigo!!
Do your thing.....
Play dumb, ask that burnin' question (who would ever be so stupid to trade Kyrie and start TRro instead) and get the ball rollin' once again!

We'll see how giving Kyrie the super max for 4 or 5 years works out.
No one is convincing me his knee won't cause problems in the future.
Pyscho ? Lots of them around . The earth is flat to all the images from space are fake.
Fierce can be known as the [[see below]]] if i'm wrong

Hayward is slowly starting to play better! We need Tatum and Brown to step it up, if we're getting to the finals!! Not worried about Tatum, Brown is starting to look more like he did at the end of last year!! Brown or Hayward needs to get back to starting, and they both need 30 minutes plus!! We're kidding ourselves if we think guys like Smart and Rozier are winning us anything!! This league is all about offense, the more you have the father you'll go!!

We weren't getting any calls early. Part of the NBA parity first quarter initiative.

Green Envy: What Grizzlies fans said - 12/29By Erik JohnsonFor much of Saturday night's Celtics game, I was unsure if I would be writing this Green Envy. Boston was down 17 points on the road at halftime and couldn't seem to slow down the Grizzlies' offense for the life of them. However, they turned it around and managed to come away with a win in Memphis, meaning another edition of the Green Envy. Here's what the pessimistic bunch of Grizzlies fans had to say, much of which was surrounding their team's head coach J.B. Bickerstaff (JB). Top ThreeWhatever happens, we’re still a team, not the f****** Kyrie Irving show. 5 grizz in double figures - Weird brag, broI love apple turnover I hate grizzly turnover How does everyone shoot the lights out from 3 against us? Are we the problem? " -It's not you, it's me" - Kyrie Irving, probablyEarly PessimismPredicting early lead that shrinks and is lost in 3rd quarter. 1 possession game with 2 minutes to go and grizzlies lose - Wow. You nailed it, my friend! At halftime...Does the game end now or what We're up by double digits going into the half. I'm not optimistic about it. I. Am. Terrified. We're just being set up for a 3rd quarter disaster the likes of which we've never before seen... right? I can't think of any other explanation Well, at least someone was enjoying the lead while it lasted: lotta SICK Celtic fans in here tonight!!! they had a whole lot to say in the first half... real quiet right now!!! J.B. Bickerstaff HateWhat is wrong with this coach of ours is he stupid and blind at the same time? THIS STUPID COACH OF OURS WATCHES THE LEAD EVAPORATE AWAY LIKE ACETONE AND THEN SAYS "Jaren youre in now." Bozo the clown.... WHY IS IT TAKING SO LONG FOR THIS BALD B**** TO BE FIRED FIRE JB JB reverting to the classic “stand there and let mike bail you out” offense F****** JB fire his a** Full SlateI dislike Celtics' announcers The extra annoying Boston announcer has his “tommy points” he gives out Boy Shelvin Mack couldn't guard a Bank Ah yes, allowing tons of offensive boards. As is tradition. the refs doing their best to get Boston back in the game Trying hard to loose the game Sounds like we are the visitors in here… disgusting Horrendous loss Might be time to activate Chandler Parsons -Desperate times call for desperate measures? I leave for 5 minutes. What the hell happened ? LMAO I hate this How are we supposed to win a game if we cant score Bandwagon Celtics fans are almost the worst, second only to bandwagon warriors fans You cant give a guy like smart a chance to flop like that Why are we like this
