Far from over, but clearly the Celts are not yet a great team.
It's all 3s from the Cs.

If the Celts have an inside presence and they still keep jacking up 3s, that's on the coach.
But until the Celts get that big, we will never know.

Heads up call from Smart. The only Celtic who is consistently a step or two ahead of everyone.

Always did like TJ Warren. I actually have his college basketball card when he played for the Wolfpack.

Celts really need an inside presence. They just can't score if the 3s are not falling.
Do they even try anything else other than Kyrie or Brown?
That they depend upon defensive takeaways for fast breaks and the three entirely is Brad's fault. He has one plan ... Plan A (spread the floor) and no Plan B.
What goods a low post scoring big if you won't use him?
He's coaching like he was at Butler. No one will ever convince me that never havn't played in the NBA he is not a big disadvanatge. Pitino

Told yah, Suns are out of the box. C's have lost this game by their own doing. Credit the Suns a little. Credit the C's more.

Jaylen Brown looks like he don't even want to be on the floor!

What is also sure Ainge has not been running any plays for Williams in practise. With Baynes out indefinitely and Horford not healthy, I think Ainge will be forced to make a move for Vucevic. Once the Celts have a guy like Vucevic and they're still jacking up a lot of 3s, that's on the coach. But right now you just can't blame the coach for not having a low post threat. The closest thing to a low post threat Brad has had with the Cs is Horford. And we all know Horford is not a great low post player anymore because he's getting old. This loss to the Suns should be a wake up call for Ainge. Also, once again Jaylen Brown looked lost.

and Danny hasn't fared well when he does put his toe in the water for a big ... his knitting is guards/wings so he loads up on them.

Jaylen Brown looks like he don't even want to be on the floor! It was survival of the fittest. Morris was the first one to complain, before the season, about having too many good players. But it looks like Morris ended up the fittest and Brown the weakest.

Hopefully Ainge can get Vucevic. Baynes is basically useless now. If Ainge is saving Jaylen for an AD trade, Rozier, Yabu, Baynes, and picks works for Vucevic.

who could blame him after last season and with all the losing this one coming off the bench. He must feel like he woke up in a bad dream or on the wrong team.

It's time the Celts get a big man who can score inside.
The Celts are just too reliant on the 3s.
Every time they don't shoot well from outside, they usually lose.
Inside-outside basketball is what the Celts need right now.
It will also lessen the burden on Kyrie's shoulders.

Come on, Ainge could have drafted Mitchell Robinson at 27.

They shouldn't stop looking for a better shot when on the perimeter.
Should always be trying to get closer to the rim ... these guys can't score closer to the rim? They must shoot from the three? BS!
Inside-outside ball s/b the main plan, not an option. When all you know is perimeter ball what should you expect other than to win 35-40% of the time if that the best you can shoot from there on any given night.

It's not too late.
Celts still have a lot of time with 52 games left.
As long as Ainge makes the move this month, there's plenty of time to adjust.
Us Celtic fans will be disappointed in the playoffs if this is the Celtic team that will be in the playoffs.
Ainge needs to upgrade this team ASAP!

If you haven't noticed, the Celtic players on this current Celtic roster are jump shooters. That's why I keep saying the Celts have so many of the same kind. You can't force jump shooters to be slashers and you can't force slashers to be jump shooters. Just look at a guy like Alec Burks. Alec Burks will always drive to the hoop, that's his 1st option. Guys like Tatum, Morris, and Hayward would prefer pull up jumpers instead of driving hard to the basket. It's the personnel. If Brad gets a guy like Vucevic and they still jack up a lot of 3s, that's on the coach.
